Sorry I haven't been on here that much to the 6 that are here. We have moved to another town, and my camera broke. UGh. This last week has been hard as we lost our youngest brother to turbo-cancer.

I am having a problem with saying "Happy Veterans Day" "Happy Memorial Day" for the simple reason that so many do NOT have happy memories for their time in service. The "happy" is for those at home who decided NOT to serve. I was refused 3 times to get in the Army that I wanted to serve so badly. Instead of wishing our Veterans any Happy Day can we start telling them how GRATEFUL and proud we are for them? My father, brother, son, Uncles, nephews and friends I am so grateful you gave so much of your life to protect our rights and freedoms. God Bless the United States Military! Kari.

The man right here was and in my heart still is one of my heroes. Donny didn't have the chance to go as far as he could since he was taken from us at 19.
Donny always showed up when we needed him, the kitchen fire when the popcorn oil caught blaze~~he threw it out into the snowbank before we knew what was going on. Yes I was the idiot (14) who was heating the oil and ran to the bathroom for a minute. The second time he was coming into the house via the living room door and noticed my mothers sewing machine smoking, he put that one out too. Weird thing was it was a peddle machine not electric, we did fine a nest of baby mice in it though.
The third time~~NO FIRE just me being a clutz and tripping on the edge of the strawberry patch.
Rest in Peace my dear guardian angel. I still think of you everyday.
