This "Little White Church down in Gheens" was hit in 2021 by Hurricane IDA (arguably CAT5) and sustained damages totaling about 70K.

Easter morning, April 9th 2023, GPC had its first service after restoration by Cooney Village crews.

Services for both Raceland and Gheens Congregations are currently held at 9am every Sunday.
