Yesterday was President Lincoln’s birthday. Last year I had the honor of visiting President Lincoln’s gravesite. Lincoln would say that a house divided cannot stand, but it was Jesus who originally said those words. America is the greatest country on earth because we have always strived to be better throughout history. There’s a lot of talk about systemic racism in our country right now. Let’s remember hundreds of thousands of men died to free the slaves. Americas’s best days are ahead because we are a moral and just people. I’m thankful to God for Lincoln’s leadership at such a pivotal time in our country.
