JESUS IS THE REVELATION OF GOD ✝️✨
John 12:44–45
«“He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me. And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me.”
— John 12:44–45»
📖 Biblical Context
These words were spoken by Jesus as He addressed the people concerning their response to Him. Throughout John’s Gospel, Jesus repeatedly made it clear that He had not come independently or merely as a teacher with His own message. He was sent by the Father and came to reveal the Father’s character, heart, and will.
To believe in Jesus is therefore to believe in the One who sent Him. To see Jesus is to encounter the perfect revelation of God.
Jesus was not simply pointing people toward God—He was revealing God to them.
❤️ Reflection
John 12:44–45 reminds us that Jesus cannot be separated from the Father. When we look at Christ, we see God’s love reaching toward humanity, God’s holiness confronting sin, God’s mercy welcoming the broken, and God’s truth calling us to transformation.
Sometimes we try to understand God through our circumstances, emotions, or human opinions. But Scripture directs our eyes back to Jesus.
If you want to know what God is like, look at Christ.
If Jesus is truly the One we believe in, then our faith should not remain merely words. It should change the way we think, live, love, forgive, serve, and walk in obedience.
🙏 Today, fix your eyes on Jesus.
Trust Him. Follow Him. Listen to His Word.
For in seeing Christ, we are seeing the One who sent Him.
“Lord Jesus, help me to know You more deeply, follow You faithfully, and reflect Your character in my daily life. Amen.” 🙏
