Update: we just heard his kidneys are stable and he is coming home today! Praise God! God is good all the time!!!!
Sorry I haven't posted much this week. It has been a rough week. My husband suffered a mild heart attack early Friday morning. Praise God he is doing really well. He was in the ICU progressive unit for 3 days, and finally got stable enough to move to a regular room. From there he's had a stress test which showed high risk, then yesterday a heart cath. His 3rd vessel was 90%blocked and they were able to put a stint in. The heart cath was minimal risk but a little more than a normal risk. My husband has pkd. Which if you don't know what that is, it's polycystic kidney disease. He has numerous cysts on his kidneys which have also moved to his liver, so the contrast adds a possibility of increased kidney damage. He is on the transplant list waiting for a kidney, but his kidney function is in the teens right now. We are both wanting to avoid dialysis for as long as possible. However right now he is doing great, they did the stint and he might get to come home today as long as his kidney function is stable. They put a saline bag drip in his iv yesterday after the procedure to help flush out the contrast.
So with that being said I am again sorry for not posting a lot or engaging with you all. I appreciate everyone of you. I also want to give a shout out to all my followers. You all are amazing and I appreciate you supporting little ole me and this small business of mine.
Everything is in God's Hands
