What does it mean to have faith such that we become aware of our interconnection with one another, with Earth, with the Sacred, with the whole of existence?

Hinduism offers an interesting insight. Brahman is understood, in part, as the the Ultimate Power (there are may deities but Brahman in a sense underlies and is the ultimate). To understand this is to understand that there is nothing separate from Brahman, that all is Brahman, and thus all is one and interconnected.

In this Faith itself becomes not just a belief but an orientation to the participation of the one and all... this faith being acknowledged and grown through meditation and meditation further being seen as a sense or form of faith.

“Verily, this whole world is Brahman. From It he comes forth, into It he is dissolved, in It he breathes. Let him with faith (śraddhā) meditate upon It - for faith is the very heart of meditation.”

“Compassion means to identify completely with others, to make their suffering one’s own. This is the mark of the bodhisattva’s mercy.”
Dōgen, Shōbōgenzō, ‘Bodaisatta Shishōbō

Compassion is the sacred crossing where self and other meet. In that meeting, mercy takes form and moves through the world. This compassion grows not only through sacred ritual and practice, but through the deeper meanings that underlie them and shapes the bonds of community.

A Brief Pause & Subtle Relaunch Announcement
Sacred Life Academy will be 'radio silent' until December 28.

This pause is intentional. It allows space for preparation, alignment, and behind-the-scenes work so that what follows is steady, coherent, and sustainable.

Beginning December 28, a subtle relaunch will begin.
From that date forward, Sacred Life Academy will resume sharing Today’s Tidbits and other posts as appropriate, including:
* reflections and short teachings
* publishing information for purchasing Lulu books
* class offerings
* guiding and similar services
* ways to support the work

Sacred Life: Pour Thy Grace on Facebook...
Starting December 28, Sacred Life: Pour Thy Grace FB will share:
* daily quotes with images drawn directly from the book
* a daily reflective question related to the core themes:
Mercy, Faith, Peace, Love, Hope, Trust, Grace, and at times Divine Life
* occasional mentions of related events
* calls for commentary and reviews

Behind the Scenes & Community
Behind-the-scenes updates, process notes, and deeper looks into what is unfolding will be shared through Patreon.
Access to the Sacred Life Academy private community is available to those enrolled in a class, or Patreon subscribers only

“His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning.”
~Lamentations 3:22–23

Mercy is never static. Rather, it continues to move outward.
This quote speaks of mercies that never end, and I chose this image (taken at Eagle Lake Park in Clearwater/Largo, Florida around 2019) because mercy, like ripples on water, is always spreading beyond where it first appears.

This quote appears in Sacred Life: Pour Thy Grace along with others in the Mercy chapter.
