Though Satan attacks me, though he rallies his deamons against, I will not fear because the Victory has already been secured!
Within me lives a warrior of God, He is always with me, He leads me in the righteousness paths, He clears the way for me and is always three to comfort me.
He will ward of the attacks of the enemy and. Will strengthen me for my journey with God every day, minute, every second, He will not abandon me in times of trouble amd anguish.
He has the victory, ove sin, over everything thrown against his precious children.
He has the victory ove worldly desires, He has the victory over sinful pleasures, He has the victory over the evil hearts of men, over the slings and arrows of the evil one!
He has the vicoory and the hearts on those who chose to accept Him and to live for Him.
This world is not an easy place to live in. This world os full of sin, anguish, pain and dissapointment. However, there is Hope in this world, there is Peace in this world and there is Joy in this world.
We have the Hope e of Jesus Christ and His soon return to take His children home.
We have the Peace of Jesus Christ, knowing that He will never leave His children. We know that HE IS THE ultimate Authority and that He takes care of His own.
We have the Joy of Christ, knowing without a doubt that we will live with him forever in eternity!
I will praise Him in the morning, because Your Joy comes in the morning!
I will praise You during the day because Your unending Blessings abound!
I will thank You in the evening for another day has passed where I could serve
You!
I Love You, Father!
Amen.

Thank you for all the kind words and prayers from yesterday’s post. It is truly encouraging to know that I have many friends who love and care for me. It does make a world of difference.
The Wednesday after my breakdown, my wife and I took our camper to Kentucky for a few days of relaxation. Our plan was to drive down on Wednesday then visit The Ark Encounter on Thursday and drive back on Friday.
It was an interesting trip down; our GPS took us on a “faster way” which involved us drivind on some windy narrow country roads, which was an experience for me when towing a 31-foot camper for the first rime, but we got to the campground safely. Then we found out that someone had taken our reserved spot. Thankfully, we contacted the owners and got a spot to set up came.
We enjoyed a quiet evening in the campground, got a good night's sleep, and headed to the Ark the next day. We got there when they opened, unloaded the mobility scooted and came and boarded the bus to go to the Ark.
My wife and I took turns on the scooter and had a wonderful time on the Ark. It is an experience that I will remember for a long time. It is the actual size as per the Bible and had four stories. Three included the representations of how the Ark was set up, the enclosures of the animals, including dinosaurs amd the living arramgememts of Noah and his family.
We really enjoyed it for about two hours until a lot of families came in with their children, it is a shame that people do not control their children more, amd let the, run around the Ark without any supervision. I do not know how many children we almost hit with the scooted because of it.
Father, it was an awe-inspiring to physically see the size of the Ark and get a glimpse of the life of Noah and his family’s life on the Ark. All the displays and background sounds of the animals made it an experience that shows Your Awsomwmess amd Power. It is a great testament to Your unending grace that You give to us. I love You. Amen.

It has been a long time since I posted anything on the “God Hugs” page. I have been through a lot of issues, physical, and emotional and it has taken a lot out of me. Rest assured that I Know that God is in total control and He will take care of me.it has been a tough road these last few months, but I always have a companion by my side.
Ever since the “Prayer in The Park” ministry started in May, the devil is attacking me full force. Every turn I took, Satan was there trying to keep me from moving forward. I have struggled against him until I could hardly take in anymore. The firsst part of June, we traded off our old camper and bought a new one. After we went home, my wife went to do some shopping, and I got the call that mu older sister passed away, which shocked me. Then, as we were taking our golf cart to Bible study that night, our electric golf cart locked up in the middle of the road. We had to lift the back end with a tractor and tow it.
A few days later, our daughter, her two children and I made the trip to Pennsylvania for the viewing and funeral. It was good to see family again, but it was also a sad time. We made the trip without incident.
About a week after we got home, I got sick on a Friday, felt lousy all day Saturday, and had a nervous breakdown on Sunday morning. I was standing in the middle of our camper, almost in tears and could not do anything. I was ready to pop! I sat down and called the Veteran’s Crisis Line, and what a godsend that was. I talked to an individual for almost 45 minutes, and she really helped me. I am doing better but still have issues that I have to deal with.
Father, it has been a rough summer. You hav blessed us with many things, but along with that, Satan has attacked me from every side. I am trying hard to rely on You, and I need all that help I can get to help me through these challenging times. I love You. Amen.

My Body
I wear a mask when I sleep at night
So, I don’t choke and snore
I use a cane when I walk around
So, I don’t hit the floor
My knees hurt, and my elbows pain
And my back is usually sore
My body trembles, I tend to stutter
My hearing is going bad
Despite all that’s going wrong
I will say I’m am glad
To be a child of our Creator
And His promises that I have
He will guide me and keep me
As I walk on Earth below
And when my body finally gives up
To Heaven I will go
To dwell with Christ forever
And to see my family and my friends

The other day, I was in a big box store getting a key made. As I was talking to the lady who was making the key, another associate was working with a lady who had a shop vac in her cart. They walked down the aisle toward the shop vacs and were talking for a few minutes. The lady came back through with her shop vac and left the store.
The associate came over and said, “That was another case of someone who did not look inside the vacuum for the accessories!”
I immediately thought of how people prominently display the Bible in their homes but never open it to find out the truth contained in it. I once had a salesperson in our home who I was witnessing to, and he proudly told me that he had a Bible in every room of his house. I told him that it did not do any good unless he opened it and read from it.
In our country, we have the privilege of being able to own as many Bibles as we want, while people around either cannot afford even one Bible, or are not allowed to own one. We take the Bible for granted while others plead to get a copy of God’s Word.
Please make use of your Bible and get into it every day. It will change your life in ways that you cannot imagine!
Father, thank You for Your Word that we can use to get to know You better. Please help us to make the time to spend in Your Word and talking to You. We need to get to know You better. You are the only truth in this world. I love You. Amen.

I really felt bad yesterday evening, in more ways than one. I had a long day, I woke up early, had my cup of coffee and went out to the barn to work. I did have to make a trip into town to pick up some things early in the morning, I also took a load of concrete and unloaded it by myself. I was a little bit tired and somehow lost all motivation. I just drifted from job to job after that, not interested in doing anything.
Tuesday nights are Bible study nights, so we went to Bible study. We always have a dinner beforehand. I was so tired I almost fell asleep a couple of times while eating, (micro power naps). The host suggested that I sit in a more comfortable seat, so I moved to the sofa, bad idea!
I sat on the couch, sang some songs with the group, and that is the last thing that I remember… I I slept and snored my way through whole Bible study part and woke up just as they were ending. The gentleman sitting beside me jokingly asked if I had a good nap. I was a little bit confused after waking up, however, I am so thankful that everyone at the Bible study knows me well, are fun to be around and forgive me.
I had taken a Gabapentin for my restless legs and that really, add me feel weird at home. It does not normally affect me that way, when I limit myself to one capsule, but yesterday evening, I was not well. Thankfully, I got a good night's sleep and am feeling much better today. But, to do not think that I have heard the end of it, I am sure that the story will haunt me for a long time, in a good way.
Father, I apologize for that way I was in Bible study last night. I feel bad that it happened, but everyone at the study knows me and tolerate me and my sense of humor. I am so thankful to have such good Christian friends who love me. It is such a pleasure to have a wonderful group of friends that one can be themselves in. I love them for tolerating me and I love You for loving me always. Amen.

I use Microsoft Word for all my posts. It is user friendly and I have used it for years in my schoolwork and other documents. I still do not understand a lot of it, but I get by.
One of the features that I really like and use a lot is the “Editor.” When I finish writing a document, such as this post, I click on Editor and see how bad I am in spelling, grammar, and punctuation. It gives a percentage of how well I have done and shows me what to correct. It makes me sound more intelligent than I really am!
Anyway, as I was writing and editing yesterdays post, I noticed an error that Editor did not pick up, when I talked about our sunroom I mistakenly typed “sin room” implying that we have a special place in our house where we can go to sin. We do not have a sin room in our house!
Sin is like prayer; we can do it at in anyplace and at any time. However, prayer is much more pleasing than sin. The Bible tells us to constantly be in communication with God to keep us from sinning. The prayers of the Saints are pleasing to God, like a sweet perfume!
Father, as I go throughout my life, help me to always be in an attitude of prayer, constantly connecting with You and always trying to be in Your Will. I know that I will fail at times, but I also know that You will always forgive me. Thank You, Father for being so faithful to me. I love You. Amen.

The weather here has been decent, so I have been outside working, and I have been busier than a one-armed wallpaper hanger! After church I worked in the barn some, cleaned up my shop a lot, (I still have a lot of man glitter to sweep up). our sunroom needs cleaned out, so I took a lot of stuff out of there.
My problem is that I cannot keep focused on one project at a time. I start working on. One project and find out I need something to complete it, so I go to get that something and find something else to do and start working on that and forget about the first project. I get into a “squirrel” mode and cannot finish anything.
One of my big failings is that I get too busy and do not take the time to spend with God. I do always think about Him, trying to plan out my next post, (which I have been very. Bad on keeping up on) and thinking about what I am going to talk about in our next, “Prayer in the Park” meeting.
The only way that we can keep close to God and to keep in His Will is to be in His Word and constantly in prayer. We should always let God guide us in whatever we do or say, and to, not lean on, but envelope ourselves in Him. One of my favorite Scriptures is Psalm 46: 10, “Be still and know that I am God.”
Father, thank You do much for giving us Your Word. Please help me to be more faithful in reading the Bible and hiding it in my heart so I can be sure to be in Your Will in whatever I do. I love You so much for what You have done for me! Amen.

I had to run some errands yesterday. While I was driving to town, my wife called me on my cell phone. It answers through my truck, so I did not have distracted driving. She said that when she called me, a woman’s voice answered and asked for her name and why she was calling. My phone is screening my calls for robocalls and spam calls.
I had to use my truck’s GPS to get to my destination, as I started my journey, the GPS decided to start updating the maps, so I had no map. I pulled over and fired up the maps on my iPad. I found out within a few minutes that my iPad and truck were both giving me directions. I had two women telling me what to do. I did make it to my destination.
Our society depends a lot on technology. We hold in our hands a powerful computer that can literally reach out to the entire world. I had a wristwatch that I could use as a phone, (shades of Dick Tracy). We can chat with people thousands of miles away that we have never seen face to face.
As much as we lean on technology, we need to depend on God more. We, myself included, tend to spend more time on our devices than we spent in God’s Word and talking to Him. Technology is great, but like anything else in this world, it is fallible. We all need to depend, and stay close to the One who is perfect, trustworthy, and worthy of our worship and praise.
Father, thank You for the technology that You have blessed us with. Thank You that it can make almost every faucet of our lives easier. However, help us to realize that technology is not always reliable and can let us down. But we have a powerful, trustworthy, and loving God who is always with us. Whenever we want to talk to You all we need to do is send You a knee-mail. I love You. Amen.

The “anonymity” of being behind a screen on social media has made people do things that they would not do in real life, face to face with an individual. A lot of the political unrest in our country is fueled be people posting negative and untrue things about politicians and starting unnecessary anger and hatred.
It has also caused a lot of cyber-bullying, where people bully others and causing feelings of worthlessness, and even caused some young people to commit su***de.
Artificial intelligence is starting to change the face of Facebook. One the things that constantly pops up on my Facebook feed is AI depictions of Jesus performing miracles and other actions. My big worry is that people will believe some of what is put on Facebook.
My worry is that people will get a false impression of Christ and be lured into false beliefs and ideas about our Savior.
Satan is alive and well. Satan uses every ruse he can to lure people, including Christians, into his trap,
“Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.” I Peter‬ ‭5‬:‭8‬ ‭ESV. A lion is ruthless in their search for prey and Satan is the same way. We need to be careful with what we do on our computers and phones. We need to always honor God in whatever we do.
Father, we know that social media is overtaking our lives. We know that there is a lot of trash on these websites, and we need to be careful about what we do on these sites. Please help us to use wisdom and discernment to keep ourselves firmly rooted in You. We love You. Amen.‬‬
