Yesterday was a beautiful day! I worked out in the back yard and got a lot of stuff done; I hope to finish today. I got a project completed yesterday. I got it out of the garage, and we winched my 1947 John Deere into the garage so I could retire it. I did buy a new harness so hopefully it will not too long.
However, I was working in the barn and my big iron spud bar waited until I walked beside it and launched itself onto my right big toe. It hurt for a few minutes, but I kept on working. I finally took my shoe and sock off and discovered that I am going to lose the toenail because it is all black and blue. Cit really hurt for a while, but I did get some quality sleep last night.
I had an online appointment with my VA therapist yesterday morning and told her I was doing well. I did tell her that I was getting some quality time with my emotional support tractor. She got a kick out of that. She changed some of my medication and scheduled another appointment in July.
I love the verse “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28 ESV. We know that we will face troubles in this world, and Satan constantly throws roadblocks in our path, but we can always trust God to see us through.
Father, thank You for everything that we accomplished yesterday. We even worked through the pain and agony of an injured big toe.
I am glad that You are always with me and that I always depend on Your faithfulness to me. We love You. Amen.
