Yesterday was a beautiful day! I worked out in the back yard and got a lot of stuff done; I hope to finish today. I got a project completed yesterday. I got it out of the garage, and we winched my 1947 John Deere into the garage so I could retire it. I did buy a new harness so hopefully it will not too long.
However, I was working in the barn and my big iron spud bar waited until I walked beside it and launched itself onto my right big toe. It hurt for a few minutes, but I kept on working. I finally took my shoe and sock off and discovered that I am going to lose the toenail because it is all black and blue. Cit really hurt for a while, but I did get some quality sleep last night.
I had an online appointment with my VA therapist yesterday morning and told her I was doing well. I did tell her that I was getting some quality time with my emotional support tractor. She got a kick out of that. She changed some of my medication and scheduled another appointment in July.
I love the verse “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.” Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭28‬ ‭ESV. We know that we will face troubles in this world, and Satan constantly throws roadblocks in our path, but we can always trust God to see us through.
‬‬ Father, thank You for everything that we accomplished yesterday. We even worked through the pain and agony of an injured big toe.
I am glad that You are always with me and that I always depend on Your faithfulness to me. We love You. Amen.

I had an issue with an item that I bought online. I decided to return the item and requested a return online. The return was accepted and the retailer sent me a return label. For some reason, I could print from my iPad, so I went to my desktop.
I went onto the website and tried to sign in. I put in my username, and a QR code came up for me to scan with my device. I went to my recliner and got my phone, but I could not get it to scan. I took my phone back and got my iPad. It took several tries, but I finally got to the next screen for sign in.
The website said that a code was sent to my phone. So, I walked back to my recliner and inputted the code from my my phone. I finally got onto the website and printed the label.
It is getting difficult to sign into websites on the computer. There are a lot of hackers out there, so they want to make sure that you may access the information that you need
However, when one wants to access the most powerful being in the Universe, the Creator of all things, all you have to do is to call on Him. He is there whenever you want to talk yo Him. Prayer is the most powerful tool that we have as a Christian, and we need to be in constant contact with our Heavenly Father who deeply and unconditionally loves us.
Father, thank You for the precious opportunity to come before You with prayer. Please help me to take advantage of it so that I can draw closer to You and the strengthen my faith. I love You. Amen.

Yesterday was a rough, but productive day for me. I went to bed about 9:00 Wednesday evening and woke up two hours later. For the life of me, I could not get back to sleep!
However, since I could not sleep, I had a very productive day. I got out my Emotional Support Tractor” and made a big dent in cleaning up our back yard. I did some work in the barn and got the grass cut.
I went to town to get a haircut. The streets that I normally use were all closed. I ended up parking at the Police Station and walking the two blocks to the barber. I almost fell asleep in the barber’s chair. Then my restless legs kicked in. We did finally finish my shave and a haircut. The barber gave me a ride to my truck.
I came home and continued with my labors. At 4:30 or so, I quit for the day and got my bath. I went to bed around 7:00 and slept for ten hours or so. Good morning!
Scripture tells us that “in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.” Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭4‬, ‭28‬ ‭ESV‬.
I do not know why I could not sleep for almost 24 hours, but God ordained it that I would get Ann of that work done and have a very productive day. God is good ALL the time.
As a quick side note, please be in prayer for Vicky and I as we begin a new ministry in our town, Galveston, Indiana. God placed it upon me to start a “Prayer in the Park” ministry where we will gather in the park once a week and have a prayer service., with everyone invited to participate. We will now pick an evening and start advertising. It is exciting!
Father, thank you for yesterday, and for everything that was accomplished. Please be with us as we begin this new ministry, and start to pray for our community, our nation, and our world.
D. Please give us a revival, Lord. We need You! I love you. Amen.

I spent a few of the last several days, along with six or seven other people, working to polls for our district. We put in some early mornings and long hours, but we had a wonderful team and worked well together. A lot of us had worked together on the polls before, and we had some new people that came on this year.
One of the things that I enjoy most about doing this job is that I get to see some old friends and to get to make some new ones. I also met some people that I did not know that I knew.it is surprising how many people in our community knew and liked me.
I met one or two people who knew me through this page and followed it faithfully. It humbled me to know that this small ministry it is having an effect on others lives.
I did have a couple of people stop and talk to me about the new ministry a couple of us are working on. I felt moved to start a “Prayer in the Park” ministry, where we will pick an evening and a time to go to one of the park shelters and pray together. It will be advertised on Facebook and any one in the community will be free to join us. The park board met last night, and Prayer in the Park was on their agenda. I was told that we would be more than likely be allowed to have our meetings but would probably not be allowed to put up a prayer request box.
Father, thank You for the time I had I working the polls. We had no major problems and everything went well. I did have the chance to pass out many Little Jesuses and a few of my books. I am so glad that I was able to display my testimony and to share it with others. Please help us as we move forward with Prayer in the Park and bless this ministry. I love You. Amen.

We live in a world that is looking for answers. We live in a world full of hatred, anger, and a lack of basic respect. People wonder why all of this is happening, and the answer is sin. Adam and Eve committed the first sin, and it doomed all of humanity to perform offenses against God.
We hear about wars, murders, and unnatural sexuality every day. I do not feel that humankind is sinning more than in the past I feel that these sins are more open and in the public eye because people are proud of their disobedience and the media exploits it and gladly broadcasts them to the world, and the world gobbles it up.
Nevertheless, the only answer to the world’s problems is Jesus Christ. Everyone must look inside themselves and realize that life is nothing without Christ. With our Him, we have no purpose, no peace, and no hope for the future.
Christ is coming soon, when we least expect it, to take His children home. When He does, the Holy Spirit will go with us, and the world will explode with unrestrained sin as Satan takes control. I would not want to be around them, and I am assured, that my faith in Jesus Christ, will take me to Heaven and I will not have to worry about it.
Jesus, I can never even begin to thank You enough for what You have done for me on the Cross. It is beyond my comprehension how much You love everyone on this planet, despite the sin that tries to overwhelm us. Please help me to be a vessel of Your love and share Your Salvation to a world that desperately needs You. I pray that You will return soon to take Your children home. We love You. Amen.

One of the things that disturbed me with computers is A.I. or artificial intelligence. I enjoy my computers and spend some time on them every day, as most of you do, it when a computer starts to think for itself, it is getting scary.
Computers do have their place in our society, from “Dick Tracy” type wristwatches to massive networks of connected computers, we cannot get away from them. I know that computers are not sentient, however, their capabilities are growing, videos and it bothers me.
I have seen many A.I. created, animated videos that depict Christ vs. Satan incidents. I believe that, even though Christ always wins, these videos are not biblical and are leading people in the wrong direction.
My faith in Christ is based on Scripture. My walk with Christ is based on the precepts stated in the Bible. I know that the Holy Bible comes directly from the mouth of God.
“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.” II Timothy 3: 16-17, ESV.
Father, thank You for Your Word. Thank You for the pastors and teachers that faithfully teach it to us. Please help us to firmly plant our roots in Scripture and to never let the world wrongly lead us from Your teachings. We love You. Amen.

The last couple of days I have faced some issues with shopping carts. I went to Lowe’s to pick up some lumber I ordered and could not park under their carport until I moved a couple of shopping carts some ingrates left in the way.

Today, I went to Home Depot to pick up some items, and again, someone left shopping carts in the pickup area, I did bump on of them because it was too low for me to see.

I drove across the street to Rural King, and some dunderhead left a shopping cart in the Handicapped Parking spot!

I do not know why some people are so inconsiderate by running off and leaving other people to clean up after them. I always put my cart in the cart corral to keep from unconvincing others. It is very disrespectful to treat others property that way. I remember a while ago, when I was leaving Lowes with a heavy, bulky item on a cart, and a lady left her cart right in front of me and left.

As much as people like this bother and even frustrate us, we are still to love them as Jesus loves us. They are all people whom Jesus loves, and we are His emissaries in this world.

“But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for His own possession’ that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.” I Peter 2: 9, ESV.

Heavenly Father, sometimes we get frustrated by the actions of others. It is so difficult to overlook the sins of others, even when we are sinners like they are. Please give us the patience to deal with them, and the understanding that we represent You in our words, our actions, and our deeds. Please give me the capacity to forgive others as You have forgiven me. I love You. Amen.

I officially rejoined the CPAP club yesterday. The VA issued me a new machine, and I used it for the first time last night. This is my third CPAP machine, the first one was replaced by the VA, the second one I wore until I got COVID. I was unable to use it after that. This new machine replaces the second one, because it had sat so long.

The new machine is highly technological; it has a touch screen and features a modem. The VA hospital in Ft. Wayne can monitor my sleep with this new CPAP machine and can tell how well the machine works. I am assuming that they can also adjust it to ensure that it works at maximum efficiency for me.

Technology is everywhere and can monitor almost everything about us. They can keep track of our movements through our phone, keep track of our activities through our social media presence and a slew of other things about us. It can be a good thing but can also work against us.

As much as technology keeps and eye on us, God sees infinitely more. He knows every little detail about our lives. “The eyes of the Lord are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good.” Psalm 15: 3, ESV.

I am an evil person; I sin multiple times every day. However, I am a saint in the eyes of God through the Blood of Christ. When an individual accepts Christ into their hearts, as I have, the Holy Spirit immediately comes into our soul. “In Him when you heard the Word of Truth, the Gospel of your Salvation, and believed in Him, were also sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of His Glory.” Acts 1: 13-14, ESV.

Father, thank You for loving me and sending the Holy Spirit to live on and through me. I know that my works in this world are pitiful, but I also know that, because of Your Son’s Sacrifice, I will live in Paradise with You forever. I love You. Amen.

Several mornings a week, I have a cup of coffee. I am usually up by 4:00 a.m. and am ready to start my day. I was up early this morning, and was ready to go to work, so I Kieruged a cup on coffee in a travel mug and went to work outside.
I started working in the shed, cleaning it up and making room for some of my tractor equipment. I got focused on the task and concentrated on the job. I had to go to the barn to build a skid with casters, so I could move things around easier. I built the skids, carried it to the shed, and had to go back to the barn to get some things. While I was there, I decided to drink some coffee.
However, I could not find my coffee. My barn is a mess because of the many projects I have going on. I looked on all my work benches, tables, and any flat surface for my coffee. I went back to the barn to search some more. After ten minutes or so, I found my coffee, I do not remember where I found it, but I was finally able to drink my morning brew.
One of God’s most comforting promises is that once we accept Christ into our heart, we can never lose our salvation and nothing will take us out of God’s protection “I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will sn**ch them out of my hand". John 10:28–29, ESV.

Thank You, Father for your undeserved love for Your children. Thank You for the promise that nothing in Heaven, or on this world, cam take us away from You. I so look forward to meeting You when, my time on Earth is over. I love You. Amen.

Years ago, while I was working on the A-10 aircraft, I thought that I was good at my job. Then, one of my fellow workers looked at me and said, “You’re not a very good mechanic, you use too many tools.” I thought, what difference does it make if I use the equipment available and get the job done?
As a Christian, we have a lot of tools available to help us in our walk with God. First, and foremost, we have the Bible, which has an answer for any situation. The Book of Proverbs is an excellent example of instruction on how to strengthen and live out your faith.
We have inherited the right to come into the presence of God with anything. God always listens to us. When we are unable to pray, “Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words,” Romans 8:26, ESV.
We have the fellowship with other Christians. “Not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near." It warns against abandoning church gatherings, emphasizing mutual encouragement to keep faith and love, particularly as Christ's return approach.” Hebrews 10: 25, ESV.
Father, You have given us so many tools to use to live our life in Your will, and to bring others to You. Please give us the wisdom to make use of these tools to strengthen our walk with You. We love You. Amen.
