Our local congregation was established in 1868 by first generation Swedish-Americans who had brought devotion to Jesus (and very little else) with them as they immigrated from the old country. Through these many years and still today, we seek to reach out to our neighbor in Jesus' name by.....welcoming everyone God leads to us...sharing the joy of life in Christ lived out in community with his

people...addressing spiritual needs for meaning and purpose through opportunities to engage in worship, prayer, devotional study, and helpful service in this world God loves...seeking to help each individual to develop a positive, mature, personal commitment of faith in Jesus...providing a place to exercise that faith in Christian service and caring, both in our church and in our community...lending support and help in times of special crisis or need...actively supporting God's mission at home and beyond in partnership with our regional conference and denominational family.

Hey friends, this weekend at our marvelous church, we officially installed Pastor Stephen Wysong as our pastor. We had the honor of hosting Karen Palmberg, our Associate Superintendent from the Central Conference, to lead us in the installation. It was a great Sunday. God is good. Hey friends, we had one amazing weekend last week at Galesburg Covenant Church. Our wonderful ladies gathered for a delightful tea time. It was full of joy, encouragement, and a strong sense of togetherness. A truly memorable time.

Then on Sunday evening, we opened up our beautiful church and hosted the Galesburg Covenant Covenant’s Children’s Choir. They took us on a musical tour through some classic American tunes. Those kids sang exceptionally well.

Thank you to all the tremendous people who invested so much time and effort to make these events amazing. Our church is so blessed with such magnificent people.
