Today's message at Galena Community Church was a timely reminder that we are never called to fight life's battles in our own strength.

"Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's."
— 2 Chronicles 20:15 (KJV)

When the battle belongs to the Lord, our calling is to stand firm.

• Stand in truth.

• Stand in righteousness.

• Lift the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

• Take up the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.

• Pray always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit.

And having done all... STAND.

God's Word isn't just information—it is living, active, and powerful. It reaches the deepest parts of our hearts, reveals truth, exposes what needs to change, and transforms us from the inside out.

Lord, create in us clean hearts and renew a steadfast spirit within us. Amen. 🙏
