Alliance Community Garden

Alliance Community Garden At Alliance Community Garden, we grow and give fresh, healthy food to hungry people in Montgomery County, Maryland. Come join us!

The Alliance Community Garden is a ministry of Gaithersburg Chinese Alliance Church (GCAC) and Gaithersburg International Fellowship (GICF). Our vision is to build and strengthen relationships through gardening with our local community in the Darnestown/Gaithersburg area as we invite people in to help us tend the garden and give back to their community. We also offer small plots to our community t

o rent at a very reasonable price to grow their own personal gardens. We started our garden in March of 2021 as a community project for our congregations to come and work together to provide fresh produce to organizations that distribute food locally to the food insecure. The garden is open to anyone who want's to grow their own garden or donate time giving back to the community by helping to provide fresh, healthy produce to those in need. Our community garden is an "Alliance" with God, our GCAC and GICF congregations, and our local community, working together to grow fresh produce for those in need. We’ve accomplished this labor of love through many warm-hearted volunteers giving of their time, talents, service, and gifts. The garden is 70 x 40 feet and is located at our church at 13101 Darnestown Rd, Darnestown, MD. For more information about GICF, visit www.facebook.com/gicf.church.

IF you rotated at least 1/2 mile from your squash/pumpkin fields of last year you should be OK, however, I kno...
