REGULAR SCHEDULE - 10:45 AND 11:45 AM

We are looking forward to the services each week in Suite #135. You are invited to join us for the Shabbat service at Emek Elohim, at 1300 E Shaw Ave, Ste 135, Fresno CA 93710. When arriving at Emek Elohim on the north side of Shaw between Fifth and Sixth Streets, you may enter the complex either through the corridor on the west side of the building or the rear corridor at the east end of the building. Bring your Bibles. Please plan to arrive at least 10 minutes early so we can start on time.

MESSIANIC LIFE ROUNDTABLE - 10:45 AM

We are continuing with the study of Rabbi Dr. Shapira's book, "The Return of the Kosher Pig." If you have your copy, please bring it to class.

“The Return of the Kosher Pig attempts to bring back the unkosher Yeshua to the Jewish people by presenting the case for the divine Messiah. Far from a study of kosher dietary laws, this book is an unprecedented journey toward the true identity of the Divine Messiah―the one previously considered “unkosher” and “unacceptable” by Jewish people. This encyclopedic volume will surprise and challenge you with the compelling words of Jewish sages and rabbis over the last 2,000 years, many in English for the first time.”

Sefer Tikkun HaMiddot

Rabbi Itzhak Shapira’s most recent book, “Sefer Tikkun HaMiddot” is now available at the congregation for a donation of $25.

The days from the first day of Elul through Yom Kippur hold a unique significance in the Jewish calendar. They are days of Tikkun HaMiddot—a season when divine support, guidance, and assistance from Above are especially available to help us repair the broken places in our lives. But what exactly needs to be repaired? And how do we begin?

Brief yet challenging, this book is designed to awaken, motivate, and equip you to undertake forty days of intentional transformation—one middah at a time.

FROM THE HAFTARAH – Mikhah (Micah) 7:18-20 CJB

Who is a God like you, pardoning the sin and overlooking the crimes of the remnant of his heritage? He does not retain his anger forever, because he delights in grace. He will again have compassion on us, he will subdue our iniquities. You will throw all their sins into the depths of the sea. You will show truth to Ya`akov and grace to Avraham, as you have sworn to our ancestors since days of long ago.
