Good evening, Beloved!
Tomorrow is Ascension Sunday, when we celebrate Jesus' ascending to heaven and sitting at the right hand of God.

The resurrection of Jesus is the central hope of the Christian faith—but it’s not the end of the story. After rising from the grave and appearing to His disciples for forty days, Jesus ascended into heaven. For many believers, the ascension receives far less attention than the cross or the empty tomb. Yet in the eyes of the New Testament authors, the ascension wasn’t just a transitional moment—it was essential. We will be reflecting on the Ascension tomorrow during the sermon time.

Tomorrow we will meet at 10am for Adult Bible study in the Fellowship Hall. Rick Becktel will be leading us.

Afterwards we will meet at 11am for worship both in the Sanctuary and on Zoom.

Have you ever wondered what Jesus did during the 40 days after the resurrection and before the Ascension? Well, here's a short laundry list of those events: (Hint...they can be found in the end of the each of the Gospels and the first chapter of Acts)
1. Of course, Mary Magdalene was the first to the tomb...and the stone was rolled away!
2. The Road to Emmaus
3. Met with the disciples in the Upper Room
4. Doubting Thomas
5. At the Sea of Galilee
6. Reinstating Peter
7. Kingdom Teachings
8. The Great Commission
9. Other Appearances
10. The Ascension
Take some time and read through the end of each of the Gospels and the first chapter of Acts....

Good Evening, Beloved!

Easter is tomorrow, but today is Holy Saturday...Holy Saturday commemorates the day Jesus Christ lay in the tomb after his crucifixion and before his resurrection. It is a day of solemn reflection and preparation for Easter Sunday, marking the time between Christ's death and his triumphant return. I hope that today has not been just another day, but a day like that as you ready yourself for tomorrow!

Tomorrow we will gather at 10am for Adult Bible Study in the Fellowship Hall. Rick Becktel leads our study. Tomorrow we are in Ephesians 6, "The Sword of the Spirit." Come join us!

After Bible study we will gather in the Sanctuary at 11am for our Easter Sunday Celebration
