Good evening, Beloved,
Tomorrow is Father's Day. Let's remember and celebrate all those men in our lives who have been fathers or father figures to us.

Tomorrow we will begin our day of celebration at 10am with our Adult Bible study. Rick will lead us as we continue to study the fruit of the Spirit.

Then at 11am we will continue our focus on Intimacy with God. Tomorrow we will consider solitude and silence.

Today is the 82nd anniversary of D-Day, when the allied forces landed on the beaches of Normandy. Be sure to say a special prayer in remembrance, for the great sacrifices made in this heroic endeavor.

Tomorrow is Communion Sunday, so be prepared to share the Lord's Supper together, whether you worship in person or on Zoom.

We will not have Adult Bible study in the morning. Rick is under the weather.

Good evening, Beloved!
Tomorrow is Ascension Sunday, when we celebrate Jesus' ascending to heaven and sitting at the right hand of God.

The resurrection of Jesus is the central hope of the Christian faith—but it’s not the end of the story. After rising from the grave and appearing to His disciples for forty days, Jesus ascended into heaven. For many believers, the ascension receives far less attention than the cross or the empty tomb. Yet in the eyes of the New Testament authors, the ascension wasn’t just a transitional moment—it was essential. We will be reflecting on the Ascension tomorrow during the sermon time.

Tomorrow we will meet at 10am for Adult Bible study in the Fellowship Hall. Rick Becktel will be leading us.

Afterwards we will meet at 11am for worship both in the Sanctuary and on Zoom.

Have you ever wondered what Jesus did during the 40 days after the resurrection and before the Ascension? Well, here's a short laundry list of those events: (Hint...they can be found in the end of the each of the Gospels and the first chapter of Acts)
1. Of course, Mary Magdalene was the first to the tomb...and the stone was rolled away!
2. The Road to Emmaus
3. Met with the disciples in the Upper Room
4. Doubting Thomas
5. At the Sea of Galilee
6. Reinstating Peter
7. Kingdom Teachings
8. The Great Commission
9. Other Appearances
10. The Ascension
Take some time and read through the end of each of the Gospels and the first chapter of Acts....
