What’s your water pot? 🏺👇
Benjamin Franklin famously said, "A person that is good at making excuses is seldom good for anything else."
It’s a tough pill to swallow, but if we are being honest, it hits incredibly close to home in our walk with God. How often do we let minor excuses—like exhaustion, reputation, or feeling underprepared—keep us from obeying the Holy Spirit's prompting to share our faith?
In our latest full-length video over on YouTube, we dive deep into John chapter 4 to look at one of the most unlikely evangelists in the Bible. She didn’t have a seminary degree, a polished background, or a pristine reputation. Yet, she turned an entire city upside down for Christ.
She did it by taking three critical steps:
• Establishing a genuine relationship with the Savior ✝️
• Boldly destroying her excuses ❌
• Reordering her priorities—literally leaving her water pot behind to run with the truth 🏃♀️
If you’ve been feeling tired, distracted, or hesitant to step out and make an impact in your community, this message is for you. It’s time to stop making excuses, drop the water pot, and prioritize what matters for eternity.
