Cultivate a Culture of Prayer and Worship

"My house will be called a house of prayer for all peoples." Is. 56:7, Mark 11:17 (AMP)

Passionately Love God and People

"And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and

with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment. And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” Mark 12:30-31

Serve the Great Commission through fellowship, discipleship and missions

"As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it. This is why it[a] says:

“When he ascended on high,
he took many captives
and gave gifts to his people.”

What does “he ascended” mean except that he also descended to the lower, earthly regions? He who descended is the very one who ascended higher than all the heavens, in order to fill the whole universe. So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. Ephesians 4-13 NIV

"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
Matt 28:19-20

"And he said to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest."

Father, we ask for your peace and comfort to fall upon the people impacted by the fires blazing in California. Let your light shine in the darkness and illuminate your love to those without hope.

Update: Lets recognize that the devastation is widespread from Tennessee to Florida. A lot of focus have been on the bigger cities. Let's not forget the smaller towns that need our help as well.

Here are some resources you can donate to help Asheville and surrounding areas. The first two resources span beyond Asheville.

‭‭In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
John 1:1-5
