June is traditionally devoted to the Sacred Heart of Jesus — a beautiful reminder of Christ’s deep, merciful, and enduring love for each of us.

In moments of weariness, uncertainty, or heaviness of heart, Jesus invites us not to carry our burdens alone, but to draw near to Him and find rest in His love.

“Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”
— Matthew 11:29

May the Sacred Heart of Jesus renew our faith, strengthen our hope, and teach us to love with humility, mercy, and compassion.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us.

This past weekend (May 16–17), Good Shepherd Parish premiered a new parish video at Mass, introducing the next chapter of our stewardship journey: “Be Seeded.” Watch now at https://youtu.be/JiyVwy87gB8?si=MejOaeRWfaUdSi3Q

The video invites our community to reflect on what it means to be planted in faith and to grow together through intentional prayer, service, and generosity. As we begin this new initiative, “Be Seeded” calls us to see stewardship not as obligation, but as an opportunity—allowing God to work through what we offer and multiply it in ways we may not yet imagine.

We are grateful to everyone who helped bring the video to life and to all who continue to support the mission and ministries of Good Shepherd Parish. This new stewardship initiative, Be Seeded, marks a hopeful step forward as we grow together in faith and community.
