It was my turn to bring a little calm and comfort to the staff at JPS Health Network!

Everyone seemed to be moving at full speed, so I was happy to make my rounds and offer a few smiles, some soft fur, and maybe a little break from the busyness of the day. I heard a few “just what I needed today” and “you came at the perfect time,” and that made me know that I had done my job! Sometimes, it doesn’t take much to make a busy day feel a little lighter.

Thanks for taking a few minutes to slow down and spend some time with me. I’m always happy to be there when you need a little extra love! 💚

Today's gospel lesson is one of those bible passages that so many people know and love. It reminds us of the very heart of our faith: God loves us so much that He sent His Son to save us.

But sometimes following Jesus can feel complicated. There may be times when our friendships, relationships, or even what other people think of us can pull us in different directions.

I'm learning that we don't have to choose between loving people and standing firm in our faith. Sometimes, the best way to share what we believe is simply by the way we live—showing kindness, grace, forgiveness, and love. Maybe the way we live can help someone else see a little more of Jesus too. 💚

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him." John 3:16-17

Congratulations to our friends at JPS Health Network on being recognized as a Gallup Exceptional Workplace for the third consecutive year!

Pax Comfort Dog and I were so happy to help celebrate with team members at several community health centers across Tarrant County. We loved meeting these dedicated professionals where they serve their neighbors each day with compassion, kindness, and excellence.

Thank you for all you do to care for our community. It was an honor to celebrate you!💚

I vote for the ear rub. Love, Olive 💚

Today we pause and are joined by other SW Region Comfort Dog teams to celebrate the life and legacy of one of our handlers, Phil Davis. Phil joined our team when Pax was placed in Fort Worth. In addition to handling Pax, he and his wife Sue later became Pax's caregiver. When thinking of Phil, one cannot overlook his great love for his family and his Savior. Once you saw his great smile, you could not forget him. We are so thankful for Phil and all that he shared with those who came in contact with him. Love, Olive

Sometimes I like to know exactly where we're going. Other times, all I have to do is follow the gentle voice of the one holding my leash.

Life can feel that way too. We don't always know what's around the next corner, but we can trust the One who does. I'm thankful that my path is guided by loving hands. 💚

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." Proverbs 3:5-6

It turns out that Comfort Dogs and babies are just the thing to bring smiles to the veterans at the Tuskegee Airmen Texas State Veterans Home!

I was happy to share the floor with the beautiful great-granddaughter of one of the veterans. As she gently patted my fur, the room filled with smiles, and a few of the veterans shared precious memories of their own children and grandchildren.

It was a beautiful reminder that the sweetest moments often bring the sweetest memories. 💚

Every visit to Pate Rehabilitation gives my team and me the opportunity to share love and encouragement—not only with the patients we meet, but also with the dedicated professionals who walk beside them on their journey to recovery.

Whether they're cheering someone on during a challenging therapy session or simply taking a walk down the hall together, they meet each person with patience, kindness, and a smile.

I'm so thankful I get to be a small part of the healing that happens there. 💚
