STOP BEGGING GOD FOR ANSWERS HE ALREADY GAVE YOU

God's will comes to us in two kinds. There's what He's doing behind the scenes, and there's what He's already told us in the Bible.

The hidden part is what He determined before time ever started. It's settled, it's exactly one way, and we don't get to see it.

What He has revealed, He put right in our hands: who He is, what He's done, what He's promised His children, and how to live in response. Deuteronomy 29:29 draws the line: "The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things revealed belong to us and our sons forever."

Picture a table with an envelope on it marked "God's hidden will for your life," and a Bible sitting right next to it. Most of us spend our days staring at the envelope while the book collects dust.

Trust Him with the envelope. Open the book. The direction you've been begging for is already written down, so what would change if you actually lived by it?

HOW TO KILL ENTITLEMENT IN YOUR HEART

Whether you work a trade, sit in the corporate world, or step into full time ministry, Paul shows us the disposition all of us need: none of us are entitled to any of it.

Paul never showed up somewhere and said, "Where is everybody? Where's my place to lay my head? Who's going to pay for the food? Who's going to help me do the work?"

His matter was settled with God before he ever arrived. Paul tells us somewhere else in Scripture that his heart is content no matter what. There's no entitlement in him.

That's why we don't walk into the Lord's work with our hands out, waiting on someone to hand us what we think we're owed. Paul's heart was rooted in one truth: in Christ, we already have all we need.

Gratitude for who Christ is will absolutely kill any entitlement that resides in us. And we all need that.
