As most of you know, Before It Begins is a ministry that the Missionary Church has partnered with since 2019 to help protect and equip our people to resist sexual temptation and appropriately engage in matters concerning biblical sexuality and gender in the face of threats like today’s po*******hy and false gender narratives.

We have promoted Before It Begins in the past at our annual Central Region conference, but I’m excited to announce that this year’s conference will be the first year when Before It Begins will be physically present at our conference. I encourage you to visit their booth while at our conference May 4th and 5th at Hope Missionary Church in Bluffton, IN.

You might even consider connecting with Ed Schutte in advance of our conference to consider if your church wants to take advantage of any of their Local Church Events & Programs.

Ed has told us he’ll be in the Ohio/Indiana area from 4/27 to 5/11, and he is happy to serve and be a blessing to your church if desired.

Two years ago Liz Villatoro joined our staff. What an addition she has been! See faithfully serves our churches, pastors, and leaders, often behind the scenes. Though, if you’re especially blessed, there’s a good chance Liz was part of your day. We thank God for Liz and celebrate her today.

Our Regional Executive Board (REB) is diligently and prayerfully preparing for our upcoming leadership transition. After a full day of meetings, our team gathered for dinner to mark our final time in-person as an REB with our current Regional Director, Ken Snyder, and his wife Christine.

Our time together was a beautiful reminder of how God shapes both individuals and teams for His Kingdom purposes. (We missed out on having Steve Sisson, Travis Geisel, and Maritza Martinez-Pereira, as they each had other important commitments.)

Join us in praying for the Regional Executive Board as they lead the transition, the Search Team as it seeks God for our next RD, and for Ken and Christine as Ken begins his new role as the Generate Director (formerly US Ministries) in mid-May.
