Tomorrow we celebrate in worship Pentecost Sunday at 10:15! This is the day that the Holy Spirit whisked into the church and began leading us with a fiery passion for wisdom and hope and a dancing reminder of the presence of God alive with us each and every day!

Join us in worship as Pastor Christen shares three short pieces and some singing on what the church can be as we listen in a storytelling worship for all ages, adapted by the writings of Rev. Gordon Atkinson, known from his honest writings on being a Real Live Preacher for the Real Live Church. Be prepared to soak in his wisdom, accept his irreverence, be disarmed by his vulnerability, reflect on his hopes, grapple with his honest questions, and leave worship asking ourselves how we continue to be the Holy Spirit inspired in "Real Live Church" today.

All are welcome, worship may be slightly shorter than usual with our story time format.

Dear Peace followers and friends, Pastor Christen here saying that a little bird told me at an IKC webinar on social media in churches, [and I admit that I don't know how the algorithm algorithms itself] that to circulate more information publicly about Peace and our mission that if you choose to "follow" us on Facebook it provides more viewers than by simply "liking."

It's a little button under the picture on the right hand side where you can click "follow."

Apparently "liking" is great but "following" is where the news of our church get spread in wider circles. [Can I tell you why? No. But, I took lots of notes at the webinar.]

So when you look at our page might you hit the "follow" button and that will supposedly add to the numbers of folks who might see us and hear about us in the social video and world, and perhaps visit us! Many thanks!

What a beautiful morning at Peace for our workday. We had a wonderful turn out and the camaraderie and sense of shared love of for this building which is our home was contagious. Thank you to all who joined us!

Tomorrow in worship we will begin our four part sermon series on growing in our spiritual awakening, reflection, and discernment as we look toward new dreams, new visions, new hopes, new ministries, new lay and potential staffing opportunities. We are poised to prayerfully listen for where God is calling us to grow in our next one, and five, and ten, and fifty years. Worship is at 10:15 and all are sincerely welcome. Our door is open to all!
