In this passage, we’re reminded that God is never unaware of our situation, His power is greater than what we can see, and His ways often differ from our own. Even when life feels out of control, we can trust the God who sees what we cannot.

Last week, we sent a team to Provo, Utah, to serve alongside Mosaic Church!

Here’s a glimpse of what God allowed our team to be part of during their time in Utah:

- Passed out 950+ door hangers for Mosaic Church
- Prayed at 25+ homes
- Shared the gospel with at least 16 people

We’re grateful for the opportunity to serve, share the hope of Jesus, and partner with Mosaic Church in Provo. Different places. One mission. 🤍

The story of Mephibosheth is one of the clearest Old Testament pictures of the gospel. David’s covenant love is proactive, unmerited, and extravagant, giving Mephibosheth what he could never earn for himself. In the same way, God reconciles sinners to Himself through the all-sufficient merit of Jesus and welcomes us to His table.

Esther 1 shows us that our reactions when things don’t go our way can reveal what is really happening in our hearts. We have less control than we think, and our unchecked desires can quickly become controlling desires. But because God is good and sovereign, we can be patient and trust Him even when we can’t see what He is doing.
