Congratulations to Rev. Jennifer Edinger on her 49th anniversary of her ministry - below is a photo of her Ordination at St Paul Lutheran Church in Fort Madison. We were privileged to have Pastor Jenny as her first congregation out of Seminary. She had this photo on her page from February 20, 1977 today and we are sharing! Congratulations Pastor Jenny! You have been a true blessing in your ministry to all you have served.

Hello friends,
At today’s annual meeting a decision was made regarding worship at St Paul. As you know our Pastor Dave Poland is also Pastor at the Appanoose church in Niota - and bridge construction has been an ongoing problem for Pastor Dave to serve St Paul Lutheran in Fort Madison at 9 am and still have time to reach Appanoose by 10:30 am. For 26 weeks of the year in 2026 the bridge will be closed on weekends.
Therefore we voted to move worship time to 8:30 am beginning FEBRUARY 15th until bridge work is complete. We appreciate the cooperative spirit among us to make this change - and for Pastor Poland’s willingness to drive the extra miles to continue to serve our congregation.
