PUBLIC NOTICE: Because of the possibilities of NPO identity theft, we are continuing with our PUBLIC NOTICE of our NAME CHANGE with examples:

EXAMPLE #1: In the same way, Dade County (established on January 18, 1836) legally changed its name to Miami-Dade County on November 13, 1997, Fort Lauderdale Area Youth for Christ (widely known as Youth for Christ/Ft. Lauderdale) was incorporated December 7, 1979 and then changed its name to Genesis Youth Project on July 6, 2017.

In the same way Miami-Dade County is the exact same “legal entity” as Dade County with the same history and the same leadership so Youth for Christ-Ft. Lauderdale (“the legal entity”) is now called Genesis Youth Project. ~ Pastor Gary Brown, Executive Director

From 1979 to 2017 our name was Youth for Christ-Fort Lauderdale. Then we decided we needed a new name. Genesis Youth Project is now our new name. Jesus, the Lamb of GOD, is still our passion because we believe He “takes away the sin of the world.” (John 1:29) THANK YOU for 42-years of support. Same Ministry. New Name. Established December 1979.
