We had a wonderful day celebrating our circles 95th anniversary today! Thank you to all who worked to put this wonderful celebration together, set up, those who came to celebrate and those who helped clean up. Sisterhood is certainly alive and well in Santa Maria Circle 427!

*There will be Mass followed by a 1-hour event with meditation,
music, prayer and veneration.

The Apostolate for Holy Relics has been engaged in providing presentations on holy relics since 2003. While Relics of the Passion has always been one of our most significant collections, the Apostolate has brought together other collections to commemorate the theme of Holy Years declared by the Holy Father, to support special prayer intentions and educate the faithful regarding special saints or Ecclesiastical feasts.

May Crowning at St. Denis Church May 2nd.

May Crowning is a traditional Roman Catholic ritual held during the month of May. A statue of the Blessed Virgin is crowned with a garland or crown of flowers honoring Mary as “the Queen of May.” There is a special honor attached to being chosen to crown the statue. St. Denis 3rd grader Chanelle Beckwith-Myers crowned Mary and her attendants were her mother, Lauren Beckwith and Edward Schupbach, Faith Formation Coordinator at St. Denis Church in Fort Fairfield. The Crowning of Mary is a Roman Catholic tradition which honors Mary as the all Holy Mother of the Church.
