TODAY WE REMEMBER… 🤔
TOMORROW WE CELEBRATE! 🎉

Earlier this week, we started a trip down memory lane on “The Road to 828”. We told you that it started with a YES.

Yesterday marked the date that means so much to the Word Alive Church and Communion House family!

8 . 28 . 2019

Seven years ago, we began our journey.

* There was no church building
* No seven year church history
* No way of knowing what was before us

There was a vision from God and people willing to believe that gave their committed Yes! 💚

God took that YES, and began to write our story

📖 A story of lives changed.
📖 A story of families connected.
📖 A story of worship, God’s Word & prayer.
📖 A story of service and authentic community.
📖 A story with mountaintops and valley lows. 📖 A story of unexpected turns and new beginnings.
📖 A story of WHOLE lot of grace along the way!

THAT IS WHY WE CALL IT 828 DAY!!!

828 is more than a day/date! It marks a moment in time that initiated a MOVEMENT of God!

So today we reflect 💭
💭 Where God has brought us from…
💭 What He has and is carrying us through…
💭 And the assignment that He still has for us…

From gathering in our home, to worshipping in the neighborhood clubhouse, and now worshipping in the current building that God has given us and every stop along the way God is still writing our story!

SEVEN YEARS LATER… WE’RE STILL HERE

Still Committed to being One Church with One Mission and One Vision.

We are still on the Road to 828 and…

🔥THE BEST IS YET TO COME 🔥

📍ROAD TO 828📍

Before there was an 828 Day… before 7 years of ministry… there was a Yes!

♥️ A faithful group of believers who were determined to grow in and live out the word of God came together and prayed for God’s direction.

♥️ God gave our Pastor the vision for Word Alive Church & Communion House. An authentic community of believers loving God, loving each other, building relationships and empowering people through the word of God!

♥️ God always has a plan! We all said yes! Today our journey continues and the mission is still the same!

🙌🏾 If you were around during those early years share one of your first Word Alive memories below! Or feel free to just share some love!

WE ARE!!! 🙌🏾♥️🙌🏻

Word Alive Church and Communion House is celebrating 7 years of ministry and we’re getting ready for an exciting Anniversary Worship Celebration + 828 Block party on Sunday August 30th!

Throughout this week we will be dropping some fun facts and sharing a little history about Word Alive - remembering where God has brought us from and thanking Him for all he has done!

We are looking forward to an on-time word from God, Holy Spirit filled worship, and a time of rejoicing with family and friends!

And immediately following service, the celebration continues with food, fun and more fun at our 828 Block Party! 🎉

So come Celebrate with Us as we give God the glory for ALL that He has done over these 7 years of ministry!
