Journey at Christ Church An inclusive United Methodist church community located in Findlay, Ohio, striving to Love God, our neighbor, and ourselves the way God Loves us.

Worship with us on Sundays at 9:00 a.m. (traditional service) and/or 11:00 a.m. (nontraditional service). Our mission at Journey at Christ Church is to share life and embrace Christ through authentic, missional community. We recognize that the most effective way of living as a follower of Christ is to do so in community others. We hold the faithful interpretation of Scripture and the context in which it was written in high regard.

What a joy to have Rev. Rae Lynn Schleif with All In Community share time with us this past Sunday. She introduced us to two new friends (and restored neighbors), Amanda Schiffer and Jessy Knick, who were gracious enough to give us a glimpse into their stories. And then, at the conclusion of conference today, Pastor Jen’s appointment at Journey at Christ Church was fixed for this year!!

What does that mean? That means she gets to continue serving as pastor here at J@CC for the next year (July 1, 2026-June 30, 2027).

The fixing of appointments happens annually because of our itinerant system in the UMC. As an ordained elder, Jen has made the commitment to serve wherever and whenever the Bishop appoints her. As John Wesley said, “The world is [her] parish!”

Nevertheless, she will continue serving our faith community and the Findlay community at-large. Let’s continue the work of building the Kingdom of God here on Earth as it is in Heaven together!!!
