Did you know?

The food ministry at The Journey Church currently serves over 600 families in need? They are ready to take that ministry to the next level and The Prayer People is calling on YOU to help pray to make this happen!

Last Year the Journey Church distributed 708,201 lbs of food and they will surpass it this year. Already they have distributed 648,420 lbs! God is moving to break the floodgates of blessing wide open over this area!

It's here! The Prayer People is partnering with The Journey Church to support their big event: Miracle Weekend!

The Journey Church is blessed with a Food Ministry that reaches over 600 families in need and that ministry is growing. The Journey Church is ready to take that ministry to the next level and we are asking The Prayer People to get involved. So how can you help?

We are going to cover this event in prayer and flood this ministry with encouragement

Here is what you do:

2: Sign up for a Prayer Time.

3: Pray and support!

4: Report back on the website that you prayed and leave a word of encouragement.

Prayer Preparation Idea: Pray! The more you do it, the more you will realize you need it. Sometimes the only thing keeping us from prayer is ourselves.

Prayer works! It works within us and throughout the world. God has given us this gift and we should use it boldly and often to glorify Him!

The future of Prayer People is looking pretty bright, neon almost! We are only two days away from the next big project. Are you ready to dive in?

Scripture reading is an excellent guide in preparing your heart for prayer. Try praying through a couple of Psalms by saying them out loud to the Lord with a heart of prayer. Feel the scripture come alive as the words become yours as you communicate with the most High God!

We are getting closer to the kickoff of the next BIG project. We need all of our Prayer People to get pumped to usher in God's plan for the area we are supporting together

Prayer Preparation Idea - Psalm 46:10 says "Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!”. Matthew (14:22-3) tells us that Jesus would withdraw to a quiet place to pray and be alone. Consider withdrawing from the chaos of your world for a half an hour today and seek God in the silent places. Quiet time is valuable not because God changes when we go there but we do!

4 Days until we kick off the next big project. When we pray, the hands and feet of the body of Christ in this world are syncing up with the mind and heart of God!

Prayer Preparation Idea - Fasting is an excellent way to clear your mind and refocus your life into a state of dependency on God. When you remind your body that all your provision comes from Him, your attitude will shift quickly. Take some time and fast in preparation for the amazing things God is going to do

One of our team members just finished preaching crusades and pastor's conferences in Uganda! He is now in Kenya continuing the work.

The first night in Uganda 30 people came to Christ!

Out of the 30, one was a 22 year old man who converted from Islam.

His sister was at the crusade and left to tell the family what her brother did. His father burned his clothes and attacked the new Christian, his son, with a machete when he got home. The son escaped and is now living at the local church that sponsored the crusade. I rejoice for this man and his newfound faith, and I mourn with him for his family. Please pray for this new Christian and his family.
