This July, Wednesday nights are for the whole family! 🌱

Kids are invited to Abide & Grow Bible Camp where they’ll discover what it means to abide in God, grow into His image, and bear good fruit through Bible stories, games, crafts and activities.

At the same time, adults are invited to our summer Bible study, Who Are You Becoming?: A Study on the Fruit of the Spirit, a four-week study exploring how the Spirit shapes us to look more like Christ.

As kids learn about spiritual growth and bearing fruit, adults will be considering that same question together: Who are you becoming? It’s a unique opportunity for the whole family to grow in faith side by side.

Dinner will be provided for students each week!

Today we recognize Juneteenth, a day that commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in the United States and marks an important moment in our nation’s history.

At Christ Community, one of our core aims is Pursuing Kingdom Community. We believe that the church is called to reflect the beauty of God’s people united in Christ. Juneteenth invites us to lament injustice and to give thanks for the hope found in Christ, who labors to set the captive free.

If you’d like to learn more or reflect further, we encourage you to explore resources from African American Ministries of the PCA (African American Ministries) which helps equip the church toward deeper understanding, discipleship and reconciliation.

May we continue growing as people marked by compassion and the reconciling love of Jesus.

Who are you becoming? 🌿

Join us Wednesday nights in July (beginning July 8) from 5:30–7:30 PM for Who Are You Becoming?: A Study on the Fruit of the Spirit.

Over four weeks, we’ll explore the qualities the Holy Spirit cultivates in God’s people—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control—and consider what it looks like to grow more into the likeness of Christ.

This co-ed study is open to everyone, and children’s programming will be available for ages birth through 6th grade. Be sure to register your kids for Abide & Grow Bible Camp if they’ll be joining us! 🍇

Ladies, join us this Saturday for a guided watercolor workshop led by Rachel Borntrager! Whether you’re a seasoned artist or have never picked up a paintbrush, this event is for you.

Rising K–6th graders are invited to join us for Kingdom Creators Art Camp on Thursday, June 18 from 9:30–11:30 AM at 101 W. Mountain Street!

Kids will spend the morning painting, creating, imagining and exploring what it means to reflect the creativity of our Creator. Through hands-on art projects and fun together, we’ll celebrate being made in the image of a creative God.
