A good story can surprise us, disrupt us and even change us.

Jesus knew the power of a good story. Again and again, he taught through parables; stories of wounded travelers, lost sons, lavish parties, persistent widows, scattered seeds and unexpected neighbors.

These aren’t just stories to admire. They invite us to see the world, and the surprising grace of God’s Kingdom, in a new way.

Join us this Sunday at 9:00 or 10:45 AM as we begin our new sermon series “The Storyteller: Encountering Jesus Through the Stories He Told.” Together, we’ll explore the parables of Jesus through the Gospel of Luke.

We weren’t created to follow Jesus alone. 🤍

At CCC, we believe that God has called us into relationship, both with Himself and with one another. And it’s often through the everyday rhythms of life and relationships that we are formed more into the image of Jesus and learn to love our city and our world.

One of the key ways we pursue these kinds of relationships at CCC is through City Groups; groups of people seeking to follow Jesus together. Made up of 15-20 people per group, our City Groups meet consistently in homes throughout NWA and share life together.

A list of our current City Groups is available on our website, but new groups are regularly forming! To learn more or find a group, reach out to Gary at [email protected] or head to the link in our bio to fill out an interest form.

CCC’s rEcess night takes place on the second Friday every month, and we’d love for you to join us!

Interested in getting involved? Shoot us a DM or drop a comment below, and we’ll connect you with the 99 Balloons team!

Eager for cooler weather? Just us? 😅 While we wait for fall to finally make its way to Fayetteville, we’re planning a cozy evening together at our Women’s Soup Share on Friday, September 25!

Bring a pot of your favorite soup and a written copy of the recipe. We’ll enjoy dinner, get to know one another and then freeze the leftovers to use for church meal trains and diaconate care when needs arise. 🤍

Mark your calendars and get those recipes ready! 🍲 Head to cccfay.com/events/womens-soup-share to register and get full event information.

Confession of sin isn’t meant to leave us in shame. It reminds us that we are deeply dependent on God.

Every Sunday, we confess together not because we have to earn God’s love, but because we can come to Him from a place of rest, knowing we are already beloved. Our confession is an act of trust: acknowledging our need for God and remembering that we don’t have to pretend we have it all together.

Hear more from our Director of Discipleship, Christian Williams, on why we make corporate confession a part of our weekly worship. 🤍

Gathered & Scattered

Last week, we began a new sermon series through Matthew 28:16–20, exploring what it means to be a people who are gathered together as the church and scattered into the world with the good news of Jesus.

We’d love for you to join us tomorrow as we continue the series! Services take place at 9:00 & 10:45 AM. See you there!
