Although I'm not heading up ZL events currently because of time constraints, I have a very large box of mixed material (fabric & wallcovering memos, carpet tile, laminate chips, etc) that I'm looking to unload. If any teachers or artists are needing to add to their supplies please email me at [email protected] and I will figure out a way to get them to you!

A reminder everyone that ZeroLandfill will be happening again tomorrow in conjunction with OFW's tax-free sale day on office furniture! From 9am-3pm, still lots of fabric, wallcovering and carpet tile to keep out of the landfill so come and get it all FREE!!! Great stuff for teachers, artists and crafty people (and with all the fabric we have it's a quilter's dream!).

ZeroLandfill will be happening again next Saturday due to all the generous donations! Still plenty of wallcovering, fabric and carpet samples left. OFW is being kind enough to let us keep the warehouse space for one more week. It is also coinciding with their first Saturday of the month warehouse sale when you can purchase furniture tax free! So come out on Saturday from 9am-3pm to get FREE designer samples and great furniture deals.

Yes, we have lots and lots of stuff. Plenty to go around for everyone! Think of all the crafty things you could use all of this for. Or, there's a large dumpster outside that rolling door that we can just dump it all in and send it to the landfill. Seems like a big waste to do that doesn't it? 8am-12pm tomorrow folks. A reminder everyone that the ZeroLandfill Chattanooga event is this Saturday from 8am-12pm at Office Furniture Warehouse on Riverside Dr.!!!!!!! Please come and take all the design materials you need for FREE and help us keep these things from ending up in the landfill. There is PLENTY for everyone so please spread the word and bring a friend!

Let's get this started. My expert guesstimate is that we have about 10,000 lbs of materials so far. To give away for FREE on April 26th. Of course more deliveries are happening today and tomorrow so we'll have even more.
Again, a big thank you to CWC for picking up and delivering the goods to us. And a huge thank you to OFW for our sweetest ZL event site yet. Complete with palettes, fork lifts and an industrial scale to weight all the materials!

Hello all! Want to remind everyone that this will be the last Thursday pick-up for Zerolandfill materials by CWC. Please contact Kim Field at 423-385-1539 or [email protected] to schedule a pick-up. The next dates available to hand off your materials will be April 11th (all day) and April 12th (10am-12pm). Please deliver to OFW's warehouse (2700 Riverside Drive) .There will be volunteers available to help unload. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Be on the look out this week for a request to volunteer. I will be looking for help the starting April 11th - the event date on April 26th.

If you would like to deliver items yourself, the warehouse at OFW will be open to us all day on Friday for delivery, no need for an appointment.

Whether you are having items picked up or delivering yourself, please remember to have all items boxed and labeled, except for large items such as carpet and tile. There are palettes available to place those.
