Our group provides support to parents with children attending the Fairview Park Early Education Center and the Center’s teachers and administrators. The Fairview Park Early Education Center is located on Mastic Road and hosts an open-enrollment program serving children ages 18 months through five years in its child care, preschool, special education preschool, and the Fairview Park School District
Kindergarten program. It is through the dedication of our members and our unique partnership with the Center's teachers and administrators that allows the Parkview PTA to uphold its established purposes. Our specific aims are:
~To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, community, and place of worship,
~To raise the standards of home life,
~To secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth,
~To bring into closer relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth, and
~To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social, and spiritual education. In the past, the Parkview PTA has provided in-school programming such as the Center’s Year End Picnic and Staff Appreciation Week. We also host a number of social events throughout the year such as Popsicles on the Playground and Spirit Nights at Chic-fil-A geared toward fostering healthy relationships among our children and parents.
~ Are you interested in becoming involved? The Parkview PTA meets regularly at the Early Education Center throughout .
~ Don't have time to attend the meetings? Message us on Facebook or email our President at [email protected] and we'll be happy to offer lots of alternatives to meetings that will work better with your schedule and perhaps even appeal more to your interests.
