Every church is made up of people, and we’re grateful for the men and women God has brought together to serve Shiloh Covenant Church.

Our elders, deacons, and staff are committed to serving the church, caring for people, teaching God’s Word, and helping build a Christ-centered community here in Fairfield.

4️⃣ Days until Launch | The 4 Values of Shiloh

At Shiloh Covenant Church, these four values shape who we are and how we want to live together.

1. BIBLE EVERYTHING 📖
We preach verse-by-verse through books of the Bible during our worship services. Sunday School and Small Groups give us opportunities to dig deeper into specific topics and truths from Scripture. The Bible guides everything we do.

2. INTENTIONAL HOSPITALITY 🍽️
We want to be a church where people are welcomed—not just on Sunday mornings, but around our dinner tables. We open our homes, share meals, and get to know one another. We want Shiloh to be known as a church that “greets one another.”

3. BORING TESTIMONIES 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦
We want to see ordinary, faithful Christians raising children who know and love Jesus. Just parents faithfully teaching their children the Bible, praying together, and following Christ day after day. Sounds boring—and we love it.

4. SIMPLICITY 🌿
We want to keep the church calendar simple and uncluttered. Why? Because we believe there should be room for the things that matter most: Jesus, family, hospitality, discipleship, and mission. We want to help people live faithfully in the everyday.

These values aren't just ideas on paper. They're the kind of church we hope to become.

🚀 LAUNCH WEEK | Why plant a church in Fairfield?

Fairfield is a great city with faithful, God-honoring churches. So why plant another one?

Simply put: this is where we live.

We are hometown missionaries.

We walk out our front doors and see the need. We see it in our neighborhoods. We see it in our schools. We see it throughout our community.

An estimated 14,000 people in Fairfield do not regularly hear the Gospel. And while several churches have closed in recent years, no new churches have been planted.

Shiloh isn't here to compete with the good work already happening in Fairfield. We want to come alongside it. We want to help reach our neighbors, make disciples, and see more people encounter Jesus.

Fairfield is home. And we believe God is calling us to serve it.

Why the name Shiloh Covenant?

That’s a great question!

As Jacob laid on his death bed he gathered his 12 sons around him. He spoke to each son, telling the future of their tribes.

Jacob locked eyes with his 4th son, Judah. To Judah he said:

The scepter will not depart from Judah,
Nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet,
Until Shiloh comes,
And to him shall be the obedience of the peoples. (Genesis 49:10, NASB)

Jacob promised a Shiloh figure will come from Judah’s tribe.
Shiloh will be the eternal king.
Shiloh will have the obedience of all the people.

The promised Shiloh is fulfilled in Jesus.

He is the lion from the tribe of Judah (Revelation 5:5)
He is the eternal king.
He shall have the obedience of all the people.

All our hope of love, joy, peace, and reconciliation with a holy God is found in Jesus alone.

📖 COMMISSIONING SERVICE

Successful children usually have loving, supportive parents who give them the care, encouragement, and foundation they need to thrive.

The same is true for church plants.

Shiloh Covenant Church has been incredibly blessed to have Grace Covenant Church of Cincinnati as our sending church.

The members of Grace have cared for us so well. They have prayed for us, encouraged us, given generously, and supported us financially. They have also humbly sent out a mature and Jesus-loving group of people to plant Shiloh in Fairfield, OH.

Our Commissioning Service was both joyful and bittersweet.

It was bittersweet knowing we won’t see our brothers and sisters at Grace every week like we have in the past. But it was also deeply joyful to be sent out as missionaries—to take the Gospel into our community and begin a new church.
We are incredibly grateful for a church family that was willing to send us.

Grace Covenant, thank you for loving us, praying for us, investing in us, and sending us. We love you and are grateful for you!

Now, we go.
Churches plant churches.
And we’re excited to see what God does through Shiloh Covenant Church.

What a great day at our church picnic! 🌭☀️

We enjoyed hot dogs, chips, and plenty of time getting to know one another. There was lots of laughter as we played soccer, had a water balloon toss, and even raced in potato sacks! It was a wonderful afternoon of fun, fellowship, and building new friendships.

We're so thankful for everyone who came and helped make it such a special day. As a new church, moments like these remind us that church is more than a Sunday service, it's a family growing together.
