Foundation Revival Ministries Evangelical Christian Ministry

Not to be confused with that which society and political pundits call evangelical

05/17/2026

Let me start by saying that I need the prayers of all of you that are striving to follow the Lord Jesus in spirit and in truth. It has been difficult for me not to weigh in on all that is going on within our country to disenfranchise any and every one that does not fit the mold of the powers that be.

Further, it has been extremely difficult to be silent and still as individuals arrogantly and proudly proclaim faith in Jesus when their works tell far different stories.

Stories that demonstrate their spiritual blindness as they pimp the Gospel of Christ to obtain that reserved for those who truly submit themselves to the Lord. Instead, whether delusionally or foolishly for what they are depicting to be true, then the Lord would be their servant rather than the great I AM.

Now, the Holy Spirit has impressed upon my heart that there must be voices rising up. Voices that must speak not as evangelists calling unbelievers to the Lord. Voices that admonish those who consider themselves to be spiritual leaders or admonish those who mask their actions in costumes of righteousness and pious sounding words.

Years ago, a sermon was preached with the sermon title Does Anybody Really Know What Time it Is?

The title is reminiscent of a song by the Chicago Transit Authority or Chicago in 1969. Considering the time in which it was performed, it was totally appropriate song for there was a war going on and turmoil throughout the United States in protest of the war and racial strife.

The sermon being preached in 1992 was not focused upon that time but called into question was the role the Church and hence Christianity was playing in society.

Now upon reflection in 2026, based upon what is going on today within society and specifically among many who profess to be Christian; the question might easily be asked again: Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?

Before I go any further, I must say to you again that the concern expressed herein is not for atheists, agnostics, or any other group or individuals that may not have professed to be followers of Christ the Messiah.

Neither Foundation Revival Ministries nor its founder exists to witness to or evangelize the unsaved. That is not the calling or burden that the Lord has established within us.

If I were a watchman standing in a tower looking out over the United States, I would have to proclaim that regardless of the time of day spiritually all is not well. There is great danger within Christianity.

Were the Prophet Jeremiah with us today, it is not hard to imagine that his message would be the same as I have.

The beginning of that message I have is that those who are perverting the Gospel of Christ are brashly speaking loudly with a certainty that is false proclaiming oh how I love Jesus.

Then there are those who with pious expressions but with arrogant countenances brag about praying even though a blind person can see that they are compromising their profession of faith for position, power, or financial gain.

That is why it is still appropriate to ask today, Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?

A cynical person might add: does anybody really care?

This ministry has nothing to do with politics or those involved in politics except to call attention to those who seek to justify their misrepresentations of Christ’s saving grace by infusing their personal attitudes and desires into the Gospel making the Lord their servant instead of their Master.

My question to you is: Are you aware of what is going on? Can you see the difference?

Do you understand that we are living in a time when individuals professing to be devout Christians use the words of the Prophet Isaiah in Chapter 5 verse 20 as a weapon to demean and demonize those who disagree with them.

However, the reality of the situation is that despite their self-righteous hateful proclamations, they are unwittingly being used by the author of confusion as soldiers in his army.

Now you might ask who am I talking about? I say to you read the scriptures. Try you the spirits whether they be of God or man.
I am not one to get into deep theological discussions to justify what the Lord has shown me and is directing me to do. That is fruitless.
Without naming a specific place, I have sat in classes where the Bible was merely a helpful guide to Christian beliefs. The point being that by selecting scripture passages charlatans can erroneously validate very strange doctrinal beliefs.
Am I being as arrogant as I have suggested others are. Certainly not! It has been and shall always be my prayer that the Lord keep me humble before the Cross of Jesus that I never think more highly of myself than I ought!

Further, I suggest to you that as surely as I know what the Lord has called me to do, you simply have to do as Gamaliel suggested in Acts 5 verses 38 and 39:

38 And now I say unto you, refrain from these men and let them alone, for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought;
39 but if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it, lest it may happen ye be found even to fight against God.”

The aforementioned is what I say to those who will take issue with that which the Lord has commissioned me to speak. That is why I will not debate or argue with anyone. Not out of arrogance or self-righteousness, but humbly with the certainty that the Lord has given me.

To anyone who is able, I ask if you can please support this ministry financially and/or in prayers that the Word can go forth in a meaningful way throughout the country.

Starting next week at the latest, messages will begin detailing exactly what time it is.

Until then, may the Lord bless and keep you!!!

Beware of Situational Truth!

A teenage boy was guilty of having shot and killed three teenagers in what was described as cold blooded murder. The response of his grandmother was to curse police, the judicial system, and reporters saying her grandson was a good kid.

The story that the facts of the case told belied her assessment of who her grandson is. Perhaps she remembered him as an innocent baby that she held in her arms. She may have been recalling his sense of humor or charming smile. There are many events in the lives of our loved ones that may cause us to see them from a biased positive perspective regardless of their actions.

Events such as described herein often reveal the unsteadiness of what we have espoused as who we are and what we believe. Sadly, far too often when our values and morals run into the realities of personal desires, fears, family, or political views things such as honesty and integrity become nothing more than situational values no longer relevant as foundational truths in our lives.

While the aforementioned may seem like a bleak assessment of individuals it pales in comparison to the damage being done to our country in the name of Jesus within many churches because pastors and congregations alike support, promote and declare allegiance to individuals who are spiritual charlatans.

Additionally, many individuals who call themselves followers of Christ whether or not they affiliate with a church have naively or willingly drank from satan’s cup of lies and deceit given by him to poison the body of Christ as he sees the last days approaching.

Unbelievers and Christians alike have been foolishly duped into believing they are the last vanguard of righteous indignation charged with saving our country and their way of life, and because of their own anger, fear or racial bias, they are walking in lock step with those whose true goals are money and power regardless of what it does to the moral fiber and existence of our country.

Such blind allegiance is as dangerous to our country as is blind allegiance to ultra liberal dogma that fosters an anything goes mindset. However, that is the other side of the coin satan uses in his heads he wins tails you lose game plan.

The prophet Jeremiah might look at these times and feel that he has seen and lived through times such as these. He might consider these times to be like the grandmother who ignores the sins of her grandson and seeks to justify him by standards that are not those of the Lord.

Jeremiah might stand with us and declare that by our silence we are the reason that the spiritual problems of today so closely mirror events that depressed him 2,500 years ago?

The roots of evangelical christianity today are dangerously close to needing to be uprooted because many ruled by personal fears, beliefs, and dogma have aligned themselves and the church with individuals whom they agree with on some issues but whose lives and lifestyles are full of lies, racist views and deceit. It is as though believers think the Lord is obligated to use those who make a mockery of the death, burial, and resurrection of His Son instead of raising up individuals with prophetic voices who build and plant upon the cornerstone who is Christ the Lord.

The true question is when will we realize that politics and politicians were never intended to save our nation?

The true question is when will we realize that race is not a barometer for righteousness and that economic and social status does not elevate you in the eyes of heaven?

Lest the Lord send our country into exile, let us throw off the cultic devotion to individuals and unlike the grandmother speak truth regardless of whether it hurts or not because that is what the Lord requires of us for His continued blessings and favor.

Does Jesus Know You?

What happens to the sheep when the shepherd becomes blind to reality and truth?

What happens to the sheep when the shepherd promotes that which is unholy as holy?

What happens to the sheep when the shepherd invokes God’s name to justify evil?

Now a literalist would say these are ridiculous questions because sheep are oblivious about such things nor are they capable of making moral judgments.

Sadly, we are not speaking about sheep but about professed followers of Christ Jesus who have willingly allowed church/ministry leaders to take them down a duplicitous path of self serving, self righteous albeit arrogant proclamations of doing the will of the Lord.

Because of this, many no longer want to be connected with anything billing itself as “evangelical christianity” for they just as atheists and agnostics do; recognize that something is grossly wrong with individuals and organizations that represent themselves as servants of Christ while aligning themselves with those who create fictional realities as justification for despicable behavior.

Over the next several weeks and months, Foundation Revival Ministries will be focusing upon the times in which we are living as many use the Bible to preach unsound doctrine based upon personality cults that pimp the Gospel as they pray and sing hallelujah.

Our prayer is that you not be deceived and seduced into becoming one of those of whom the Lord spoke in Matthew 7: 21-23.

Whenever there is an election politicians, political pundits, and others of all persuasions whether they be conservative, liberal, or moderate suggest that the election is critical. This time they may be right without fully realizing why?

Why? It is true because there is much more at stake than whether the current president or the challenger is elected. There is a moral dilemma brought about by those whose fervency for their cause or candidate has blinded them spiritually to the Christ of the Gospels rather than the christ of situational ethics and human desires and fears that many are now following.

Such is the state that our country is in all the while many foolish Christians and superficial albeit self-absorbed and self-seeking Christian leaders continue to drink of the cup given to them by those who pervert the Gospel of Christ to justify that which is anathema to the Lord.

Much of the behavior seems cultic as believers march in lock step espousing commitment to individuals who unashamedly lie and insinuate things that no reasonable person should ever cosign on.

This is not a matter of moral equivalency. It is reminiscent of the fable told in numerous forms about the animal who hitches a ride across water. In this case, we will use a scorpion.

A scorpion, which cannot swim, asks a frog to carry it across a river on the frog's back. The frog hesitates, afraid of being stung by the scorpion, but the scorpion argues that if it did that, they would both drown. The frog considers this argument sensible and agrees to transport the scorpion. Midway across the river, the scorpion stings the frog anyway, dooming them both. The dying frog asks the scorpion why it stung despite knowing the consequence, to which the scorpion replies: "I couldn't help it. It's in my nature."

Regardless of the issue it seems that far too many believers have put the Lord in a box determining for Him whom or what must be in order for society, our country, and the world to survive. Such a view limits the Lord to being able only to work through whom we determine He can use.

A better perspective and prayer would be praying that regardless of whoever holds office that the Lord will intervene within their hearts, minds, and spirits to bring about that which He desires of His creations.

Our fervent prayer is that believers come to their spiritual senses having eyes to see and ears to hear lest we incur the anger of the Lord because by our actions and deeds we cause His children to stumble and others to want nothing to do with Christianity.

Thaddeus Lewis, the senior pastor of Greater Missionary Baptist Church, finds himself at a crossroads. He grapples with the direction he must take. The Holy Spirit is speaking to him. Will he listen to the Spirit’s gentle urgings on his heart, or will he succumb to the pressures to be more carnal than spiritual? The issues Pastor Lewis faces and the decisions he must make will affect his life and his ministry. It will change how he relates to his congregants, possibly cause a fissure in the church, and touch the core of his relationship with God. He stands to lose a lot. A couple of influential ministers, who have taught and mentored Pastor Lewis, are pushing him in one direction. Members of his congregation are meeting about the changes they sense in their pastor. A deacon is opposing him at every turn. And he and his wife are moving into a season of their lives where the threat of losing his church will cause great strain on them. A storm is brewing. Will Pastor Lewis and his wife come out of it unscathed?Storm Clouds is the Christian fiction sequel to the novel I Wish I Had A Praying Church. This novelette is the continuation of what happens when the Holy Spirit challenges a pastor on whether his relationship with the Lord is genuine. It is a timely and relevant work. The story’s themes of church politics, peer pressure, intellectualism versus the Spirit, and the creeping of worldly values into the Church, are very real and palpable issues in many churches today. It is a call for Christian readers to honestly evaluate whether they are following someone who may not genuinely believe in the Christ of the Gospels, and they are led to examine what being a believer truly means.

Beware of Wolves Among Us!

First, we want to apologize to all of the faithful readers who have been wondering why the articles/blogs of Foundation Revival Ministries (FRM) seemed to have come to an end.

Because many pastors and supposed Christian leaders have allowed and even supported the shameless influence/invasion of politics into matters of faith; Foundation Revival Ministries determined to seek the wise counsel of the Lord for the direction this ministry should take.

Among the concerns we took to the Lord was the pain and anguish we felt watching Christian pastors and leaders boldly shielding those who take darkness of the heart as light and those who promote racist ideology as some strange type of patriotic faith. (We will discuss what true patriotism must be for a believer at a later date).

Further, we sought His counsel as we continued to witness angry fear based faith, and paranoid albeit delusional contrived anger mask itself as righteous indignation against any who disagree(d) then shield itself against criticism by invoking statements about being a prayerful individual even though the position taken is anathema to Christ.

That is why our voice went silent because we were praying, watching, contemplating, assessing, and seeking what the response of Foundation Revival Ministries must be.

Before continuing, we must state that FRM is neither affiliated with any political party nor political organization.

Our position and positions taken are neither from the left nor the right. FRM is neither part of any ecclesiastical group nor denomination.

While there are many scriptures that deal with the latter days and false prophets, every believer should thoroughly acquaint himself or herself with the Gospel of Matthew Chapter 24 verses 3 thru 26.

Foundation Revival Ministries is here to sound the alarm that the Lord is not pleased and all who profess to know Him through Christ Jesus the risen Messiah bear the responsibility as ambassadors of Christ to represent the Lord in Spirit and in Truth not through the misguided fear, anger, and deceit of men and women who in their foolishness are serving the father of lies and not the Creator!

Dear Lord, we pray that our country may be blessed beyond our finite imaginations for a season or seasons as men and women, boys and girls so love you and seek your perfect will that those who are Christian leaders become convicted of the error of their ways and turn from their worldly theology and doctrines.

Please Lord cause a foundational revival among all who believe that the day when the Messiah returns might be delayed as multitudes see them living as stated in Romans 12:1-2 and thus cause many unbelievers to come running to Christ that they may be saved.

This we pray because so many today are turning from Your unblemished Lamb because of the hypocrisy they see among Christian leaders and individuals.

Have mercy upon us, oh Lord! May Heaven cry out in joy as sinners come to repentance!

In Jesus name we pray, AMEN.

Fake It Until You Make It!
(God is not fooled and is not a fool)

Within our country many are professing to be followers of Jesus but there is an odor from them going up that surely is a stench in the nostrils of Heaven.

What is that odor? It is the deceitful and deceptive smell of many so-called evangelical Christians and Christian leaders that causes fear and trembling among those who see the Lord as the Great “I Am” rather than as a being who changes according to the sinful desires of man.

It is ironic that so many individuals claim to be Bible believing Christians yet their theology, doctrine, and positions taken on a myriad of issues including politics and social issues show little kinship with the Christ of the Gospels. Sadly, there are unbelievers who display more warmth and understanding of love of our fellow men and women than these perpetrators of false doctrine.

Should the Lord not be angry that regardless of race, national origin, wealth, or lack thereof; these wolves masquerading as shepherds use liberal or conservative doctrine to lead their flocks to the spiritual slaughter that is sure to come should Christ return and find them praising and promoting Him with self-serving lies?

Jesus said: “And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat

upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.”

Upon closer inspection we find that at the beginning of Matthew 7 we find several verses which many have used to try and avoid conviction by railing against anyone who dares suggest their lives or lifestyles need to change.

No there is no place for self- righteous hypocrites who chastise others while not examining themselves. The goal should be for all to have a real come to Jesus moment. Never being perfect but striving to be all that the Lord desires of you. In other words, there is never an excuse for trying to fake it until you make it.

There is never an excuse for siding with satan while professing to be holy.

As the Sermon on the Mount draws to a close, Christ gives encouragement, assurance, and direction. He warns us to watch out for those deceivers who use the Word of God to suit their own purposes.

Then Christ makes statements that should cause believers to flee from those pious or deceptive individuals who go around talking about no one ever going to hell.

Every Christian should with humbleness of spirit and sober reflection ingrain Matthew 7: 21-23 within their heart and mind.

No, you do not have to accept the words of Christ Jesus!

You may continue to follow after those who preach a gospel born of fear and anger about where our country is and where they believe it will be; convincing yourself that things that are unholy are of the Lord.

Remember Matthew 7: 7-12.

God is neither a fool nor fooled.

Only He can turn our country around.

Never let it be said and never let it be true about our country: “And great was its fall”.

Be Ye Also Ready!

Our prayer is that you, the reader, not be one of the reasons that the Lord in His displeasure with the condition of the hearts of His creations—men, women, boys, and girls decides it is time for the return of the Messiah!

Are you aware that the greatest danger to Christianity has nothing to do with atheists and agnostics?

Are you aware that followers of false gods and those who would say that Jesus was a misguided prophet are not the reason for the return of the Lord?

Are you aware that those who foolishly strive to mix Jesus in with their pagan beliefs have little to do with the return of the Lord?

Everyone proclaiming, ‘Oh, How I Love Jesus’, as they support persons or causes that make a mockery of the Messiah as he is revealed in the Gospel plays a role in the necessity of His return.

Everyone who bastardizes the Gospel of Christ as revealed in His never changing Word to his or her dogma formed through opportunistic twisting of scripture (eisegesis) for social, political, economic, or personal gain are nothing more than shameless charlatans.

Oh may the Lord have mercy upon those foolish believers who think that in supporting politicians, judges, particular political parties or ideologies; they are demonstrating the Will of God for our country!

Woe upon woe to those Christian leaders who condone evil and lead others to believe that the Lord sanctions supporting and following after any individual or individuals who make a mockery of the Messiah as revealed in His Word.

We know that every man and every woman shall give account of himself or herself to the Lord, but it must never be forgotten that some of harshest words of Jesus were to the scribes and Pharisees—religious leaders.

Pray for our leaders especially those who espouse to be Christians, because if our country is even to slightly resemble that which the Lord would have it to be; then they must come to realize that their greatest duty and responsibility has nothing to do with political party nor social agendas—it has everything to do with whether or not by their actions and deeds they are truly ambassadors of Christ and the teachings of His Word.

Rejoice for He is risen!
How great and grand is the love of the Lord that on the very night that the angel declared, ‘…I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord’, it was already certain that some thirty years later the tomb would be empty because death could not hold Him.

Although today Handel’s Messiah is thought by many to have been written and composed for Christmas, it was not and upon reflection as we consider the glorious fact that Jesus rose just as He said He would, can there be any more beautiful song of praise for Resurrection Sunday than the Hallelujah Chorus?

Some might say it is of no significance that Handel’s oratorio is now considered a Christmas staple and we should be glad whenever it is sung. Foundation Revival Ministries understands that type of thinking.

However, there are greater considerations especially in this age in which individuals want to say and do anything as they profess to be following the Messiah regardless of whether or not what they are advocating contradicts sound biblical doctrine.

Foundation Revival Ministries is concerned that whether it be for Christmas, Resurrection Sunday (Easter to most), some other day you profess to consider holy, or just in daily living; that, you not succumb to personal fears and worries to support individuals, theologians, preachers, politicians, family members, or anyone else that crucify Christ again and again by calling good evil and evil good.

These are dangerous times in which we are living, but not for the reasons that liberals, progressives, or conservatives tell you. Unholy attitudes and actions are unholy attitudes and actions regardless of who is espousing such sinful views and God is not pleased.

Do you not wonder how long He will tolerate our hypocrisy and our ignoring the signs of spiritual storm clouds on the horizon?

As Resurrection Sunday approaches it is our prayer that you prayerfully hold those who are ostensibly considered to be Christian leaders accountable to truly be representatives of Christ just as we all must be if we are truly seeking to one day hear the Lord say unto us “well done……..”.
