ANNOUNCEMENTS โ€“ August 9, 2026
โ€œOur Town Quiltโ€ Raffleโ€ โ€“ Update - Monday, the quilt began to take shape as forty-five squares were arranged and rearranged. Work will begin soon on putting it all together. Questions?? - call Linda (802) 309-9212 or Patti (802) 324-6966. Everyone is encouraged to offer tickets for sale for the drawing in September at the Band Concert here at the church.

Nancy Ferguson Ladd long time member of the Fairfax Community and a very active member of our church died Monday, July 23rd. A time of remembrance for her will be held Sunday, August 23rd during the regular morning service. A luncheon provided by the family will be held downstairs following the service.

Food Shelf โ€“ Please remember the food shelf among your donations to organizations in need. We now serve the public on Wednesday afternoons. With more flexible hours additional families are using our services.

ANNOUNCEMENTS โ€“ July 19, 2026
Town Wide Yard Sale โ€“ Thank you to all who contributed in some way to our portion of the town wide yard sale yesterday. We collected over $300 for our mission work.

โ€œOur Town Quiltโ€ Raffleโ€ โ€“ If you are making a square(s) for the quilt please have them completed by August 1st. Tuesday, July 21st 1:00 PM - The steering committee for the project will meet at the church. Please join them if you have any questions or want to drop off your squares. Questions call Linda (802) 309-9212 or Patti (802) 324-6966.

Nancy Ladd long time member of the Fairfax Community and our church died Monday, July 23rd. Cards can be mailed to family members at 849 Founders Rd, Lexington, SC 29073.

Susan Mitchell had a hip replacement this week. Cards can be mailed to PO Box 24, Fairfax, VT 05454.

Brickwork โ€“ The brickwork repair on the front of the building this week is part two of our restoration project and is expected to be completed by the end of the month. Maintaining our church is a true labor of love, and we are happy for the opportunity to preserve it for future generations.
Hannaford Helps Fight Hunger! In July, Fairfax Food Shelf will receive $1 for every โ€˜Fight Hungerโ€™ shopping bag purchased at the Milton Hannaford location. Bags cost $2.50 each and can be found at check-out lanes or on the bag kiosk. We received a $210 donation from this Hannaford promotion in November 2025.

Thank you to the Mitchell's for donating the snazzy solar lamps and a BIG thank you to all who contributed towards the ramp project costs. It helped a lot and we so appreciate it!
