Bright Horizons Youth Camp is a ministry of NextGen Ministries, an organization that is composed of volunteers from different churches on the east coast whose goal is to develop the mental, emotional and spiritual well-being of the youth. Our mission statement is "To provide an environment for young people to connect with God and each other where they will grow in faith and be equipped to serve.”

July 24-26, 2015 - First youth camp held at Williamsburg Christian Retreat Center in Toano, VA. Theme was " " (John 15:14)
May 27-30, 2016 - Youth camp was held at Camp Piankatank in Hartfield VA. Theme was "God's Superheroes". (Hebrews 11:1)
May 26-29, 2017 - Youth camp was held at Camp Piankatank in Hartfield VA. Attended by about 70 middle/high school students from five churches. Theme was "You've Got Questions, He's Got Answers". (1 Peter 3:15)
May 25-27, 2018 - Youth camp was held at Camp Piankatank in Hartfield VA. Attended by about 66 middle/high school students from seven churches. Theme was "NCIS: New Christian Investigative Stories". (2 Corinthians 5:17)
May 26-29, 2019 - Youth camp was held at Camp Piankatank in Hartfield VA. Attended by about 70 middle/high school students from seven churches. (Colossians 2:6-7)
May 26-29, 2023 - Youth camp was held at Camp Piankatank in Hartfield VA. Attended by about 70 middle/high school students from eight churches. Theme was "Chosen". (Colossians 2:6-7)
May 26-29, 2024 - Youth camp was held at Black Rock Retreat in Quarryville PA. Attended by about 100 middle/high school students from ten churches. Theme was "Nothing but the Truth". (John 17:17)
