🚨 URGENT DIASPORA APPEAL: A BISHOP LIES IN A SEATTLE MORGUE SINCE OCTOBER 2025— His Children in Kenya Are Waiting to Bury Their Father. 💔🇰🇪🇺🇸 DEAR Community, this is a heartbreaking cry for help that should touch every single one of us. A community that forgets its own in death must reflect deeply on itself.
Bishop Kaye passed away months ago, and his body is still at a funeral home here in Seattle, Washington. Thousands of miles away in Kenya, his grieving children and family are crying, waiting, and hoping for the day they can finally give their father a dignified send-off. The pain they are enduring is unimaginable, yet the silence around this situation has gone on for too long.
We are a large, blessed, and capable Kenyan community in the US. Culturally and humanly, leaving one of our own unburied like this goes against everything we stand for. Our traditions teach us to stand strong with grieving families in their darkest hours. Today it is Bishop Kaye—tomorrow it could be any of us.
This is an urgent call for compassion, unity, and responsibility. Let us not allow this agony to continue. Together, we can bring peace to this family and give Bishop Kaye the dignified farewell he deserves. 🙏🕊️
