Sunday at GHMBC was truly a joyous and memorable day! We celebrated the outstanding accomplishments of our children who continue to excel by making the Honor Roll and Principal’s List—so proud of each of you!

A very special congratulations to our Sunday School Superintendent, Dr. Gemerica Beckett, who has truly made her parents and her church family very proud with her incredible accomplishment of earning her Doctoral Degree in Education and Leadership—what an amazing achievement!

We also are excited to share that our very own Sheriff Anthony Russell, a member of GHMBC, has announced he is running for reelection as Sheriff of Hampton County. We are extremely proud and excited about this announcement!

We then enjoyed a beautiful Easter program where our children did an amazing job sharing their Resurrection Sunday poems. They truly blessed us!

A special thank you to our Youth Director, Anna Busby, for doing a wonderful job working with the children and preparing them for the Easter program. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to all the parents for your support and dedication.

To top it all off, we received a powerful message from our awesome Pastor Steve. It’s always a blessing to have our Mother of the Church in the midst of our Sunday services.

Hearts are full and spirits lifted—what a great day!

GHMBC extends heartfelt thanks to Karsten Housey for representing us so beautifully in the Mt. Carmel Baptist Association Beauty Pageant. We are excited and proud to share that Ms. Housey was crowned Queen at the association on Saturday, October 25th! 👑

A special thanks to her es**rt, Torell Housey, and to everyone who supported Ms. Housey in reaching her goal. Your love and encouragement made this achievement possible. 💐👏

✨❤️ Red Letter Day Celebration ❤️✨

What a beautiful Sunday we had! 🙌 On the 3rd Sunday in August, we came together for our Red Letter Day – a special time when members who haven’t been in fellowship for a while return home to worship, reconnect, and rejoice with the church family.

This blessed tradition was started years ago by the late Deacon C.M. Beckett, whose vision was to remind us that no matter how far we may wander, there is always a place for us in God’s house. 🕊️

Along with celebrating homecoming, we also took time to recognize and celebrate the good news, accomplishments, and dedication of our church members. 🎉 Each testimony and milestone reminded us of God’s faithfulness and the strength of our church family.

The pictures shared here capture the joy, the love, and the spirit of homecoming we experienced – smiling faces, warm hugs, and hearts lifted in praise. Truly a day to remember and cherish!
