📣 No Abide tonight—but our Fall 2026 Calendar is here!

We’ll kick off the new year on Wednesday, September 16, with a combined Abide and Contenders Kickoff Night from 6:00–7:00 PM. Join us for a free meal and learn more about our children’s and student ministries this fall!

After kickoff, Abide meets every Wednesday:

• Junior High: 6:00–7:30 PM
• Senior High: 7:00–8:30 PM

Each week includes biblical teaching relevant to teenagers, small groups, student-led worship, games, and more!

Great night of questions, games, and food last night. Thankful for all the teens and leaders who were part of it. Looking forward to Water Wars next Wednesday 8/12. Students should wear dark clothing they are comfortable getting dirty.

Got questions about God, the Bible, or the Christian life? Tonight is Ask Anything Night at Abide Student Ministries!

This is your chance to ask the questions you've always wondered about, and we'll spend the night opening God's Word together to see what it has to say.

After the lesson, we'll hang out with chips & dip and some board games. Bring a friend, bring your questions, and come ready for a fun night together. We can't wait to see you!

🔥 Abide is happening tonight! 🔥

Tonight we’re continuing our Inside Out series as we talk about a topic that many people struggle with but don’t always know how to talk about: depression.

We’ll look at what the Bible says about sadness, suffering, and finding hope when life feels heavy. Whether you’ve experienced depression yourself or want to better understand how to encourage others, this is an important conversation.

After our lesson, we’ll wrap up the night with a bonfire and s’mores!🍫🔥 We'll be done at 7:30 but students can stay later and enjoy the fire as long as it's okay with their parents. Come hang out, invite a friend, and enjoy a great night together.

📢 Abide Students & Parents – A Couple Reminders!

🛠️ Service Project Tonight (6:00–7:00 PM)
We'll be meeting at the project location at 6:00 PM and will finish at 7:00 PM.

I sent a text to parents last week with the address. If you need the address again, just send me a text and I'll get it to you!

🎢 Arnolds Park Trip – This Saturday (10AM-4PM)
Don't forget about our trip to Arnolds Park this Saturday!

💲 Cost: $15
🍔 Bring $15–30 for lunch and snacks
🕙 Meet at Arnolds Park at 10:00 AM

Please let me know if your student is coming this Saturday.

If your student needs transportation, please let Pastor Lance know tonight at youth group so we can make arrangements.

Parents,

Due to the impending storms tonight we are pushing the service project to next Wednesday Night from 6:00-7:00 PM. Students can come hangout at the church from 6:00-7:00 PM tonight where we’ll play games and have snacks.

We're changing plans for our July Youth Event. Originally, we were going to head up to Mankato for Faith and Family Night, watching the Mankato Moondogs play baseball Unfortunately, our plans have changed due to issues with our church van.

So instead, we've decided to swap that event with a trip to Arnolds Park in Spirit Lake on Saturday, July 18th, from 10 am to 4 pm. Between a discount for our church group and some money set aside in the youth budget, each student's ticket is $15 (which is a pretty good deal). Students can sign up at Youth Group on Wednesdays or by contacting Pastor Lance.

Students and their parents are responsible for their own transportation to the park. Any student who would be unable to go due to a lack of transportation should contact Pastor Lance no later than Wednesday, July 15th. Students should bring their own money for lunch and snacks(expect around $15-30).

Thank you all for your flexibility as we had to swap this month's event. I look forward to a great day at Arnolds Park on the 18th.

Parents, this Wednesday we're changing plans and doing a service project for a family in our church who recently welcomed a new child.
