Our services are egalitarian - women are called to the Torah and children often join us in song and prayer. Beth Tikvah B’nai Jeshurun, known as BTBJ, is a modern, egalitarian full-service Conservative synagogue located in the Northwestern suburbs of Philadelphia. Serving families from Lafayette Hill, Plymouth Meeting, Springfield, Ambler, Upper Dublin and surrounding communities, BTBJ is a vibran
t, warm congregation that provides an endless array of religious, educational and social activities. BTBJ is a member of The United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism. Through active participation in our many groups and activities, such as Sisterhood, Men’s Club and Congregational Learning, our members have many opportunities to strengthen family values and serve the synagogue and our neighborhoods. In addition to our rich adult programming, BTBJ has a Early Childhood Center, Camp and Religious School that provide quality Jewish Education spanning toddler years through high school. BTBJ is privileged to have Rabbi Roni Handler as our spiritual leader. Rabbi Roni shares her passion for Judaism through unique services, classes, discussions and creative programs with congregants, students and guests alike. Her warm and dynamic style draws in the congregation and community for worship, study and special gatherings. BTBJ has been a vital center for Jewish life in our community for more than 50 years. We look forward to getting to know you and sharing our bright future with all our members and guests.
