Morning reading, thoughts, and prayers. I think of this scripture Pastor Michael Tull shares often: James 1:5 (KJV 1900): 5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

My prayer is for wisdom this morning. Lord I ask that You lead me and help me be humble enough to follow.

6 Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.
7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

2 Corinthians 12:9-10 (KJV 1900): 9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

These scriptures were on my mind today.

Need to remember these from time to time. Sometimes life throws us a curve ball we don’t see coming, but when we are in our weakest state, God takes care of us!
