🌅 Sunday Morning Conversation 🌅

What does “Let Go & Let God” mean to you? ✨

Sometimes it means releasing fear.
Sometimes it means trusting God when life feels uncertain.
Sometimes it means surrendering the things we cannot control and believing Jesus is still working behind the scenes. 🙏

💬 We’d love to hear from you:
How has God taught you to trust Him in difficult seasons?

Yesterday, Pastor Paul preached a powerful message titled: “God, Reveal in Me the Things I Don’t See.”

He shared truths from đź“– 1 Corinthians 10:12
“So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall.”

The message reminded us that even while doing good things, we can slowly drift into spiritual numbness without realizing it.

Pastor Paul spoke about how overworking, unhealthy obsessions, and constantly staying busy can become dangerous distractions. Being busy for Jesus is not the same as being with Jesus.

He shared examples of Moses, the rich young ruler, and Martha - all people God lovingly revealed truth to when they became distracted, overwhelmed, or spiritually dry.

✨ Key Points:
• Have you settled for routine instead of relationship?
• Spiritual drought can happen when we lose focus on God.
• Everything belongs to God - when He asks us to give, we are only returning what was always His.
• Martha became so busy serving Jesus that she forgot to simply be with Him.
• The enemy loves to whisper that it’s “too late,” that we’re “too old,” or that nothing will change - but God still calls people with purpose at every age and every stage.

One of the most beautiful moments of the service was witnessing two baptisms - powerful reminders that God is still changing lives, renewing hearts, and calling people into deeper relationship with Him. Baptism is more than a moment in water; it is a declaration that the old is gone and new life has begun through Christ. đź’™

Even while serving God, we must guard our hearts and stay connected to Him.

Mother's Day Sermon Recap

Cristy Evans gave a powerful message titled 'Still Standing.'

1. God Sees You
Even in silent pain, heartbreak, and exhaustion, God sees every mother and hears every unspoken prayer.

2. Standing In What You Didn’t Choose
Mary stood at the cross-watching Jesus suffer. She did not choose the pain, but she stayed faithful.

3. Forgiveness In The Middle Of Pain
“Father, forgive them…” Luke 23:34
Forgiveness is not easy, but it is necessary. It does not erase the wound - it releases the bitterness.

Broken But Still Standing
You can still be hurting and remain faithful. Pain does not mean God has abandoned you.

Resurrection Still Comes
Friday was painful, but Sunday still came. Your story is not over. God still brings healing, restoration, and hope.

Key Reminder
If you survived Friday...it may have been difficult - but Sunday’s power is still coming.

Mother’s Day comes to each of us in different ways. God gave us mothers, and mothers are truly special. For some, this day is filled with celebration, laughter, hugs, and precious memories. For others, it may carry grief, longing, or quiet reflection.

Some are celebrating their mom.
Some are missing their mom deeply.
Some mothers are celebrating with their children.
Some mothers are carrying the ache of losing a child.
Some are spiritual mothers, bonus moms, grandmothers, sisters, or women who have simply loved and cared for others well.

No matter your story, this day matters. More importantly - you matter.

Bring your mom, your sister, a friend, or someone who simply needs encouragement and love this Mother’s Day.

Come into God’s house and be with us at 312 E. Main St in Endicott NY. There is a place for you here - no matter your journey, no matter your story. Our very own Cristy Evans will be bringing us the message!
