☀️ Summer of Stories is here! ☀️

This summer, we’re inviting our families to stay connected to God, each other, and our church family through a new resource called Summer of Stories.

Each week includes:
📖 a short family devotion
🎉 a simple activity to do together
🤝 a way to connect with another family in our church

Week 1 is based on Acts 2:42–47 and reminds us that faith was never meant to be lived alone. The early church devoted themselves to Jesus, His teaching, community, and prayer — and those same things still matter for our families today.

This week’s challenge:
🧺 Do: Have a family picnic and talk about how your family can grow closer to God this summer.
💛 Connect: Take a simple treat to another church family and encourage them.

Be sure to grab your Summer of Stories packet, either on our Kids and Student pages at vcbc.org or at the Welcome Desk Sunday, and join us for a summer full of faith, family, and stories.

Join us this Sunday, April 26 for a BBQ Lunch and Silent Auction to support upcoming mission trips. The meal will begin at 11:30am, and to-go boxes will be available following our 9:00am worship service. You can view a full list of auction items by visiting vcbc.org.

Our Women's Ministry is hosting a Book Swap on Tuesday, March 24. Wrap and bring a new or gently used Christian-themed book to swap! The event is open to anyone and will include prayer, a devotional, and light refreshements.
