We will also have a table set up at the Pulliam-Burton VFW - Post 5456 Elberton, GA and Elks Lodge Wellness for All Health Fair from 10:00-3:00.

Great day at the Iota Psi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Athens, Georgia Spring Unity Festival! We had so many people come by to learn more about our outreach hygiene program.

I was truly touched by the number of people who came to get bags for their friends and neighbors. Building relationships and community are what we are about. That includes meeting people where they are with no judgment.

We are thankful to Angela, Jackie, Mary and others who made sure we were included in this event!!

Community Chat is TOMORROW night! 🤩 I am so excited to share this information about values with you! Values is a term people throw around A LOT, American Values, Christian Values, Conservative Values, Liberal Values, Family Values.

What’s missing is that we rarely stop and talk about what those actually mean. Here’s the catch, it is easy to say those phrases, but it is much harder to define them and even harder to live them. Values must be actionable.

Most businesses, nonprofits, and civic organizations have mission statements and values. However, only about 10% of them have actually use their values to guide their business decisions, train employees, and maintain accountability.

What happens when you take the time to really discover your values and your organization’s values? How do your values guide you and ground you in difficult moments?
