Catechism Late Registration

For the 2022-2023 school year, catechism registration for grades 1-12 is taking place until August 25th, 2022.

Classes will depend on teacher availability and the willingness of parents to home school their children with guidance from the parish. Family faith formation is one of the best ways to foster a solid relationship with God!

Register by going to the parish office in El Rito, Mon. – Thu, 9AM – 1PM.

First Communion students need a copy of their baptismal certificate and Confirmation students need a copy of their baptismal and First Communion certificates. There is a $25 fee.

Calling all the called!!!
“As he passed by the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and his brother Andrew casting their nets into the sea; they were fishermen. Jesus said to them, “Come after me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Then they abandoned their nets and followed him.” (Mark 1:16-18)

We, the Archdiocese of SF, look for single Catholic men between the ages of 18 and 50 who are actively engaged in their parishes. There is no obligation or commitment and there is no cost to attend the vocation discernment weekend.

Due to the pandemic, this year’s discernment weekend is easier than ever to attend. No travel is required. The entire weekend will be online. There will be times for presentations, prayer, reflection, and individual interviews with Archbishop Wester. The dates are January 29th-31st, 2021.

Registration is available online on the Archdiocese of Santa Fe website. Click on vocations and then click on priestly vocations. The link to the registration form (https://forms.gle/JPhxxf5znshbueup6) has also been provided in the email.

Above all, please pray for the men who will attend this weekend and that they will be open to whatever God’s will is for each of them. If you have any questions about the weekend, please do not hesitate to call us 505-831-8143.

Sincerely,

Fr. John Trambley

Vocation Director
