It’s Wednesday and time for Awana!! We are so excited for our first official night of classes! We can’t wait to see everyone back and introduce all of our new families! Tonight’s theme is "Crazy Hair Night”! Come with your craziest hair ideas to earn extra points towards our Awana store! Every clubber should be in section 1 of their entrance booklets. Work through section one and memorize the verse to recite tonight! We can’t wait to see you all soon!

Don't just pray children have a good first day.

Call the neighbors, grab your friends, school is almost back in session and it’s time to start thinking about Awana!! We have an exciting year ahead and can’t wait for you to join us August 19th for our Kick-Off event!! Parents, please plan to stay that night for our parent meeting and registration. VBS Night 5: Our final night of VBS was a blast!! During Bible study, we learned that Jesus is God's plan for forgiveness. We learned about the importance of repenting, giving our life to Christ, and being baptized. During craft, the kids scratched frames with their picture, enjoyed yummy snacks during snack time, and then finished the night off by dumping ice water on Mr. Ricky, because the boys lost in our friendly competition! However, we are so proud of each child who brought money to give towards Lighthouse Prison Ministries. Many men have the opportunity to hear about the gospel of Christ while in prison due to this wonderful organization. In total, they raised $311.28! We ended the evening singing Happy Birthday to Ms. Kim and letting her enjoy her cake and her own bucket of ice water! 😂💦

VBS Night 4: We had an amazing night, complete with a gospel presentation for our 1st-8th graders. We learned that Jesus is the Son of God, proven through His resurrection! We enjoyed fun snacks and ‘stained glass window’ crafts resembling the empty tomb. Afterwards, we finished the night with water balloons and a slip 'n' slide! 💦

VBS Night 3: Last night at VBS, we learned that Jesus is the powerful Son of God! The kids LOVED hearing about Jesus performing miracles! At snack, we learned about Jesus feeding the thousands with only seven loaves and a few small fish while enjoying, “fish and loaves”. During crafts, the kids colored shrink wrap keychains; cooking those will be a miracle in itself! 😆 Afterwards, we all enjoyed time outside with friends! We are so excited to see everyone tonight for Water Night!💦
