Our MVCkids workers serve tirelessly week after week, faithfully teaching our children and reminding them of God’s love for them. On every 5th Sunday, we give our volunteers a chance to rest, worship, and soak in God’s Word alongside the church family.

This Sunday (May 30) is Family Sunday at MVC! All children (nursery available) will join their parents in the main service as we worship together as one church family. We love these special Sundays and the opportunity they give us to worship, learn, and grow together.

This summer, we have the opportunity to send another team to Europe to share the good news with visitors traveling from the Middle East from June 27th to July 10th. Right now, GB, SB, TB, MB, and DZ are preparing for the trip through training, fundraising, studying, and praying.

Last Sunday, we had the opportunity to hear from MB and DZ as they shared about their upcoming trip and what they are most looking forward to. It was encouraging to hear their excitement and heart for what God has ahead. Please continue to pray for them as they prepare for this journey and the opportunities God will place before them.

There are a couple of ways that you, as a church, can help support us in our preparations right now. First, you can be praying for God to prepare our hearts, protect our health, and to help us with the logistics of preparing. Second, you can support us financially by giving above your regular tithes and offerings and designating your giving to WMT. We will continue to keep you informed as the trip dates come closer, and we appreciate your support in sending the good news to Europe and travelers from the Middle East this year.

Please remember that giving to this mission trip should be part of your over-and-above giving. While we want to send these teams well, we also have operating expenses and ministry opportunities locally as well. To streamline the giving process, we ask that you use the designation "world missions trips" or "WMT" on your check and the giving envelope. Please do not write individual names on your check or giving envelope. You can also give online or through the MVC app with the same designation.

Last Saturday, three women shared powerful testimonies of God’s faithfulness in their lives. It was such an encouraging time of hearing how God has worked through joys, trials, and seasons of growth. Along with meaningful fellowship and delicious food, the morning was a beautiful reminder of God’s grace and the strength found in sharing life together.
