This storm will pass. God won’t.
Stay warm, stay rooted, and remember that sometimes being snowed in is just God saying, “Come sit with Me for a while.” ❤️

❄️ Day 5: Peace That Outlasts the Storm

Theme: God’s peace in uncertainty

Key Verse:
“And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:7

Devotional Thought:
God’s peace isn’t dependent on weather forecasts, power outages, or news updates. It’s a guard thats standing watch over your heart when everything outside feels shaky.

Highlight This:
Peace isn’t the absence of storms, it’s the presence of God.
God’s peace doesn’t always make sense, and that’s the point.

Reflection Questions:
What anxieties do I need to hand over to God?
How can I choose peace today?

Prayer:
“God, guard my heart and mind with Your peace.”
❄️ Snow melts. God’s peace doesn’t.

❄️ Day 4: Strength for Cabin Fever

Theme: God renews weary hearts

Key Verse:
“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.” Isaiah 40:31

Devotional Thought:
Being stuck inside can wear on anyone. But God specializes in renewing strength but not just physical energy, but patience, joy, and grace (especially grace for the people you’re snowed in with).

Highlight This:
God’s strength works best where ours runs out.
Waiting seasons are never wasted seasons.

Reflection Questions:
Where do I feel most tired right now?
How can I rest in God, not just from activity?

Prayer:
“Lord, renew my strength and my attitude.”

🦅 Eagles soar. Humans pace the living room.

❄️ Day 3: Light in the Middle of the Storm

Theme: Hope during difficult seasons

Key Verse:
“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” John 1:5

Devotional Thought:
Storms don’t cancel God’s light. They make it easier to see. Winter can feel dark (literally and emotionally) but darkness has never beaten the light. Not once. Not even close.

Highlight This:
Darkness doesn’t win by being strong, only by making us forget the light exists.
Jesus didn’t wait for perfect conditions to show up.

Reflection Questions:
Where do I need to let God’s light in right now?
What truth can I cling to when emotions feel heavy?

Prayer:
“Jesus, be my light when the days feel dark.”

🕯️ Candles, fireplaces, and Jesus = winter survival essentials.

❄️ Day 2: God Provides (Yes, Even When the Bread Is Running Low)

Theme: Trusting God’s provision

Key Verse:
“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19

Devotional Thought:
Remember Israel worrying about food in the wilderness? They had literally just watched God split the Red Sea… and still panicked about dinner. Sound familiar? (Looking at you, empty milk carton.)
God’s provision is daily, not bulk. He supplies what we need when we need it.

Highlight This:
God has never missed a delivery.
Anxiety often forgets yesterday’s miracles.

Reflection Questions:
Where am I worrying instead of trusting?
How has God provided for me before?

Prayer:
“God, help me trust You more than my grocery inventory.”

🥖 Manna was daily because God knew humans would hoard it. 😉

God Provides, Even in the Storm

Core Truth: God knows our needs and faithfully provides daily.

Highlight Verses:
“Give us today our daily bread.” Matthew 6:11

“The Lord is my shepherd; I lack nothing.” Psalm 23:1

“Look at the birds of the air… are you not much more valuable than they?” Matthew 6:26

“God is able to bless you abundantly, so that… you will abound in every good work.” 2 Corinthians 9:8

🥶 Winter Reminder: If God feeds birds in a blizzard, He’s got you.

02/02/2026

Theme: God’s presence in stillness

Key Verse:
“Be still, and know that I am God.” Psalm 46:10

Devotional Thought:
You didn’t plan to be snowed in. God did plan to meet you here. Stillness isn’t punishment, it’s often an invitation. When life slows down (or shuts down entirely), God often turns the volume up.

Highlight This:
Stillness isn’t wasted time.
God does some of His best work when we stop multitasking.

Reflection Questions:
What has God been trying to get my attention about lately?
What distractions has the snowstorm temporarily removed?

Prayer:
“Lord, help me stop fighting the quiet and start listening.”🙌🏼

☕ If the snowstorm canceled your plans, congratulations! you’re officially on God’s schedule. 🫶🏼

❄️ Day 1: God Meets Us in the Stillness

Core Truth: God is present, active, and speaking even when life slows down.

Highlight Verses:
“The Lord is near to all who call on him.” Psalm 145:18

“In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength.” Isaiah 30:15

“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:14

“Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him.” Psalm 37:7

✨ Winter Reminder: Stillness isn’t empty, it’s holy ground.
