A To-Do List Christian

To every thing there is a season, and a time
to every purpose under the heaven.
ECCLESIASTES 3:1

I am a to-do list person, Lord. The multitude of those activities threatens to spill into the time I have set aside for prayer. I’ve moved prayer to category one—an absolutely, positively, must-do activity. Forgive me when taking time to talk to You does not come automatically and naturally.

Father, You’ll notice the pad of paper at my side as I come to You in prayer. When unfinished items intrude on my mind, I’ll write them down and set them aside so that I can concentrate on talking with You. I am thankful that we have this time to spend together.
