A mother kills her three children — and somehow the outrage is aimed at anyone who calls it murder.
That is not compassion. That is diabolical disorientation: good and evil swapped. The innocent dead become an afterthought. The killer becomes a symbol. Anyone who still knows that children are owed protection is painted as the villain.
Sister Lúcia warned of a fog where error feels like mercy. Here it is. Weeping for a murderer while shrugging at three little graves is not love. It is blindness. Truth says: those children mattered. Their blood cries out. No ideology, no “context,” no party line can baptize that.
Lord, have mercy on the children. Have mercy on the mother. And wake the living who have learned to defend the indefensible.
