LAY DAY 2026: MORE THAN A MEMBER!

What an AWESOME and spirit-filled celebration!

A heartfelt THANK YOU to the Kyles Temple Lay Council for an incredible Lay Day service yesterday! We also extend a special thank you to our 2026 Lay Day speaker, Bro. Michael B. Render II, for delivering a powerful, inspiring, and unforgettable message entitled “More Than a Member!”

We were reminded that “IT TAKES TWO” — the laity and clergy working hand in hand to build God’s Kingdom! And when we work together, “AIN’T NO STOPPING US NOW!”

As we continue this journey, may we always remember that we can “LEAN ON ME” and one another through every season. It’s time to “WAKE UP EVERYBODY” and put the gifts, talents, and purpose God has placed within each of us to work!

We are more than members. We are ONE working together for ONE PURPOSE!

And as we continue moving forward in faith, service, and unity, we stand on this promise:

“THE BEST IS YET TO COME!”

A Pastor’s Love Is a Special Kind of Blessing!

A heartfelt thank you to Pastor Tyesha N. Harden and her family for showering the members of Kyles Temple AME Zion Church with so much love during today’s 2026 Member Appreciation Reception!

There is truly something special about a Pastor who not only speaks about love but demonstrates it through thoughtful acts of kindness. Today was a beautiful reminder that we are more than a congregation — we are FAMILY!

Pastor Harden, thank you for loving on your members and making each of us feel valued, appreciated, and celebrated. We love and appreciate you right back! ❤️

🎀 THIS IS WHAT A SURVIVOR LOOKS LIKE! 🎀

When we hear the word SURVIVOR, we think of strength, courage, unwavering faith, and the determination to keep fighting even when the journey becomes difficult. We think of those who have faced uncertainty, endured difficult days, held on to God’s promises, and emerged with a testimony of His grace and goodness.

Today, we proudly honor and celebrate five extraordinary women:

💕 Sis. Audra Honré
💕 Sis. Rebecca Monroe
💕 Sis. Shirley Jones

These women are more than survivors. They are living testimonies of faith, resilience, hope, and God’s sustaining power.

As we observe October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we celebrate those who have overcome, stand in love and prayer with those who are still fighting, and lovingly remember those who have completed their earthly journey and received their heavenly reward. Their courage, their stories, and their legacies will never be forgotten.

A heartfelt thank you to our Health & Wellness Ministry for taking the time to recognize and honor these remarkable women. Your thoughtful expression of love reminds us that no one walks this journey alone.

On behalf of Rev. Tyesha N. Harden and the entire Kyles Temple AME Zion Church Family, we celebrate you, we thank God for you, and we honor the strength of your testimony.

May your lives continue to inspire others to hold on to faith, embrace hope, and never give up.
