🌱 IMPACT Pt. 1: An Everywhere Impact 🌱
This Sunday we were reminded that God has never called His people to stay where it’s comfortable—He has always called us to GO.
In Jesus’ Parable of the Sower (Luke 8:4-8), the farmer scattered seed everywhere—on hard paths, rocky ground, thorny soil, and good soil. He didn’t stop to determine where the seed might grow best. He simply sowed.
The same is true for us.
God calls us to share His love and the hope of the gospel in every environment and with every kind of person. Some hearts may seem hard. Some people may appear uninterested. Some situations may feel difficult or even impossible.
But we don’t sow because success is guaranteed.
We sow because obedience is required.
One phrase echoed throughout the message:
“Do it for the some.”
Not everyone will receive the message of Jesus, but some will.
Some hard hearts will be softened.
Some broken lives will be transformed.
Some people searching for hope will find it in Christ.
The Apostle Paul modeled this in Acts 17 when he entered Athens—a city full of idols, confusion, and competing worldviews. He didn’t retreat from the challenge. He engaged the people, learned their culture, built bridges, and faithfully shared the truth of Jesus.
As followers of Christ, we are called to do the same.
➡️ Go into the hard places.
➡️ Love difficult people.
➡️ Share the gospel faithfully.
➡️ Trust God with the harvest.
Remember: God never asked us to produce the harvest. He only asked us to sow the seed.
Who is God calling you to reach this week?
