Downey March For Jesus The purpose of the March for Jesus is to unite local churches in celebrating Jesus Christ. The March for Jesus has some history.

This year’s event will be the 10th Annual march in Downey, on May 30th. We are planning to make this the best march we have ever had and planning manny great things. The latest edition started in 2011 but some say there was a March for Jesus here in Downey many years ago. The March for Jesus is also done in other cities of the US at different times of the year. This year's vision is to Ignite the

Nation and start more March for Jesus in other cities
Currently, we have 6 churches represented on our Planning Team. They are Abundant Hope, Desert Reign, Lord’s Grace, Praise Chapel, and Legacy Church The Planning Team meets every week. As we are now ready and excited about the event. There are a number of ways you can support this wonderful event. First of all, support it in prayer. I think all of us would like to see a reawakening to the things of Christ right here in the city of Downey. Secondly, through your promotion of the event, members of your congregation will participate in the event. Thirdly, we would love to have you participate in the march and other fun activities during this day.
